My grandparents owned a Kenmore washer and dryer set from 1970s or 80s, and still worked like day one. The only thing that needed replaced in the dryer was the belt. Plus they were over 35 years old.
Lowes just sold my elderly mother a broken dryer and now they're refusing to replace it even though they delivered it today. They're trying to force her to replace it with a more expensive one.

Me and my wife went to Lowe's yesterday we picked up a open box washer that was returned I asked the guy why was the machine return He said the lady did not like it so the washer is now at a discounted price because it's open box item the washer listed for 999 brand new we got it for 4:50 got the machine home hooked it up in the middle of the washing cycle fault code appeared the washer got a problem take some advice when they have a deeply discounted Appliance do not buy it!!!! So I'm sure this machine was returned because it did not work and they have the nerve to try and resell it to another customer that's the last time I won't shop at Lowe's for appliances now I have to return this piece of crap and hope I can get credit for something else
