This usually happens a lot since parents stopped disciplining their children and took the old saying "I want my kids to do better amd have more than I did". When I say discipline, I'm not talking about abuse. And every generation wants more opportunities for their kids. But they took opportunitied and turned it into kust spoiling them without earning things. They also allowed tantrums and wanted to be friends with their kids. Parents aren't and shoube friends. Their parents and all the good and bad that comes with it.

I moved back home in my 30’s, had a plan, paid them rent, saved my money, bought a house, moved out and got married. IF you’re going to do it there’s a way to do it and a way NOT to do it. I have. great relationship with my parents and chose to do it to save money. I wouldn’t stay in their house and disrespect them though. That wouldn’t work.

I also moved home at 32 yrs old. Full time school and part time job. I was revamping my life after many failures. You get the picture. They were great. Didn't want rent but for me to get on my feet. What made it work was the fact that we all got along with no disrespect on both sides. We were NICE to one another.

wow man things in America are so different than the part of the world I live in even in the privileged areas like mine. We do not leave our parents house even after we grow up. Instead we start running the entire house, paying for everything and stuff so our parents can relax. If we buy a new house our parents travel there and live with us. Its a cultural thing and nobody ever had a problem with it. If we leave our parents alone by themselves it is like abandoning them in old age and is despised by societal norms here.

Yes this 100%. I have so many friends who moved back home after college graduation and got jobs in their fields, and their parents let them live at home for awhile as long as they were working and moving towards getting their own place. I have a friend that is like this. He is 36 and is still living in a false perception of reality where his parents still have to support him. Despite being educated, once he graduated from college and had to start taking care of himself he reverted back to an angry 18 year old and couldn't function. I think 25 is the absolute max age you should be and still live at home. 31 is pretty ridiculous. Even 25 is pretty bad.
@CherryFrog321
@CherryFrog321 2 года назад
But with the cost of living these days, it can be impossible to afford to move out even at 25 or 30. As long as the person is working and contributing to the household, I don't think it's fair to judge them for still living at home by a certain age. But obviously people like this guy in the video, who are just lazy and taking advantage of their parents are a different story, and there's no excuse for his behavior.

To be fair, once someone starts receiving mail at a property, most states consider that person a resident.. whether they pay or not. Meaning they must be evicted, and if forced out, they can sue you, legally. Unfortunately this is also called "squatter's rights".
@mariabeltran7927
@mariabeltran7927 2 года назад
That's the problem with this world and our legal system. Just because he gets mail there does not entitle him to live there rent free. If that's the case I'm going to change my driver's license address to some rich guys house and live there rent free and drive his Ferrari or Lamborghini. OH HAPPY DAY!

Oh no, this poor family. The guy presents himself well image wise, but perhaps he got into drugs or something to cause his life to shift so severely. He’s still quite young and has his looks still put together, so he definitely has time to fix this when he starts taking accountability for his own life.

Is it me, or is this more common with sons than with daughters? I hardly hear of adult women still clinging on to their parents like parasites. Spoiled teens maybe, but at some point they do grow up. Especially before 20.

Girls usually have a boyfriend or a plethora of guys who are willing to provide for them. Even if they have this guys same mindset. You think this dude could go out and find someone to take care of him?
@redpilledwarrior4001
@redpilledwarrior4001 2 года назад
Because women find partners way more easily than men and unlike men they don't have to feel bad for living at her boyfriends place and him earning the most amount of money? In order for a guy to even be in this position, he would have to be extremely handsome (for a girl its enough to be average and you've got plenty of options), but even then he would be misstreated and made feel guilty for not having higher social status than his woman.
@storyvi9530

Uhhmm...that's a tricky one...are you suggesting it's because they're superior ? Damn doesn't that contradict the theory of gender equality ? Aren't we all supposed to be the same ? Well maybe - and I'm just hazarding a really wild guess here - maybe it's because females get provided for by their partners when they're young and attractive ? And unlike men society doesn't judge them for it ?

In a way, he has a point. His parents raised him in a certain way and here is the result. Yes, he must make his own choices and be responsible for them, but.... Are we seriously saying that the way we parent has no consequences? That parents aren't in any way responsible for outcomes? The child is parent to the adult. The parent of the child needs to keep that in mind.

He said the key words right there at the end. That family doesn’t have a family dynamic…they may never have had one and he’s been raised in a dis functional family the entire time allowing him to still be there at 31 years old…etc…why wasn’t all of this addressed years prior when he was a teenager in high school and early 20’s. Parents enable kids to stay until they are way older than normal.
