Fully agree. I did the same thing for 4 years, it really hurt to see everyone in my age group grow up and change for the better. While I was wasting away in my room waiting to die.

Sure, there are people who go back to their parents' house because their own house got accidentally destroyed by a fire or because their employers were mean to them and gave them unfair dismissal or because the economy has not been fair on them...but this guy in the video has been given opportunity after opportunity after opportunity. He is just being lazy, smoking weed, not looking after his kids properly, leaving his bedroom in a filthy mess, playing videogames, watching Pokemon and stuff...he could do better but he chooses not to. He is talking about a divorce that happened SIXTEEN YEARS AGO and he still thinks that affects him...SIXTEEN YEARS!!! He is just not putting enough effort. His mum is to blame too somewhat...but I put more of the blame on him because he is not willing to listen to his mum's ideas of helping him get a job and move out. The mum is to blame for enabling though. I do not feel that bad for this guy, he is choosing to live a lazy life which is not helpful for him. Plus he has kids and he is not taking care of them responsibly, he is not realizing that he is giving his mum so much hardship and difficulty. He has not planned things out properly. What is he going to do when his mum dies? How will he support his kids? Where is the money going to come from? Most sensible and decent and normal-thinking adults would think about those things but he hasn't. He needs to sort himself out and his mum needs to do better too. I would have sympathy for this guy if it wasn’t for the fact that he created three mouths to feed. Once you have kids, you put their needs over your own. Nothing is more frustrating to children growing up when they are forced to take care of themselves and be the adult when their parents aren’t there for them.

He’s not like other Manbabies on this show who abuse their parents and steal their money. He’s just a guy who went through some hard stuff and needs a real therapist. He shouldn’t be on TV while people laugh at him and make fun of him

@@Jay-jw2xr perhaps you are but I don't think you should see it as a bad thing especially if you do end up being diagnosed because there are methods to helping you cope with it. Being so highly intelligent certainly can benefit you well in life. You just have to take control over your mental health so that you can achieve all you are capable of. That would be the only thing holding you back but if you accept it and take charge I am quite sure you will be just fine

Literally my only worry if its true, is how society will treat me. Theres nothing wrong with being neurodivergent, but if people are going to treat me differently just based on that, and not respect me, they dont deserve to be in my space. Lots of love to you.

Yes. I agree with you. So many people are quick to make unkind comments toward him having never stood in his shoes and experienced the root cause of what brought him to that place to begin with. I believe that constructive criticism and encouragement go a long way to helping people find purpose. I look at him and I feel empathetic toward him because of what brought him to that place. I believe that he is still accountable for his actions and he must change his ways, however, I think the right person can coach him out of this rough spot in his life. Find the root of the problem, find the solution. If he wants to face that root problem in the end is on him but there are consequences. I hope God will carry him through his time of transformation and that his life will be healed. I hope that he will find purpose.

Because he's clearly depressed. Sometimes people who are very smart, such as this man, who clearly has a high technical capacity, tend to be prone to going into very deep depression. He needs help as it's a long way out of it all at this point, the longer these things are allowed to go on the harder it is for people to get out of the spiral.

I guess getting a less stressful job, like drive for Uber or something, could do a world of good, have enjoyable conversations and come out of depression. Rideshare helps a lot, coming out of a slump and stand on your feet. There's no harm staying at your mum's, if you can pay her rent and cover for expenses at home and the kids. Keeping busy and having an active lifestyle is KEY.

Depends on the job. If you have the skill and will it's never too late. Besides, if you look at the generations behind him, they are all sitting in their bedroom at their parents house well into their 20's playing video games all day and night, many thinking they are going to be pro streamers. For 99.99% that isn't going to work out, and they'll be 30-40 before they know it without any skills or life experience other than having decent hand eye coordination on video games. He's not talking about his plane specifically. All he's saying is that it's dangerous for a mechanic to be on drugs and make mistakes when working on something as complex as a plane. Definitely wouldn't want the plane to malfunction mid-flight or something.
