There are many out there that the Jan. 6 Insurrection turned them against Donnie. One thing Donnie has done has Exposed the GQP for the Cowards that they are. I suggest looking up Republican Voters Against Trump on RU-vid. You will hear many stories of people who will NOT vote for Donnie, but GQP members in general. Im 64 years old. I've been to war, retired LEO. Other than 9-11, and Pearl Harbor, Jan 6th, was the worst attack on American soil I've ever witnessed. I watched it live on tv. The entire world watched. So where was our commander in chief? Oh yeah, that's right. Gleefully watching on tv what was happening. Those officers suffered for hours in hand to hand combat. The worst thing about the comparison with 9/11 and Pearl Harbour is that this attack was not perpetrated by a foreign country or terrorists, but was done on behalf of the Commander in Chief at the time, through a delusional belief that a fair and free election was stolen. Yes, it almost was!!! Well, so many things went so wrong that day, but in retrospect, so many went right. Just think of how catastrophic it could have been if the Proud Boys and other domestic terrorist groups were able to get their hands on the weaponry they had hidden away in preparation. Yet, here we are, almost 4 years later and the lie continues and the term bloodbath and violence is a solution for nearly half of the countries populace. If this Trump turd doesn't get wiped from the feet of the US, the US will never be respected on the worlds stage and will be a pariah forever. You have been shown by the last 4 years what good governance looks like and what bad governance is in the previous 4. Goodbye Empire of the US if the Trump turd is re-elected. Probably more of a Riot. An insurrection is a hostile takeover and overthrow of the government. Like a rebellion. Similar thing happened on Jan 20th 2017 during Trumps inauguration where antifa and far left democrats ran onto the white house lawn with weapons and other riots occurring in protest across, where buildings actually burned down. Treason involves the actions to be in favor of a country we've legally declared war against. Considering we only ever do "special military operations" now, that's probably never going to be a charge anyone sees ever. The thing he's guilty of is insurrection, the thing our justice system will likely stick him for is seditious conspiracy like a majority of the attendants of J6 got. The big point against insurrection vs seditious conspiracy is they're largely the same thing but in the USC seditious conspiracy defines itself while insurrection is like "if he did an insurrection". So seditious conspiracy becomes much easier to get a conviction on.
