As an Ohio State alum I am far from salty. Rich is a great guy, I'm glad to see him get so giddy. This is what rivalries should be about! They earned it this year, and he has every right to feel this way about Urban. But we'll be gunning to take it back come next year!

@Jay Mendoza Jimmy Johnson started with the Cowboys (arguably the worst team) his first year and had a 1 - 15 record after that first year. He got "Coach of the Year" the following year for getting them to 7 - 9 after the first year debacle. Then Built a team that won 3 out of 4 Super Bowls... with an assist from Barry Switzer. Jags stink so bad that they should be kept in a plastic bag. Expecting better than that the first year is foolish. SOOOOO many people started out hating Urban in the Media...and I don't even like him...but had to give him time to build something.

@Jay Mendoza Finally some logical thinking, media started hating Urban hire form the start, like they forget that Jaguars are forever bad and for reason got Trevor Lawrence. You cannot expect wins from that team. They are not qb away from winning.

@Jay Mendoza He wasn't fired because of his record. He was fired because he's a garbage human being and alienated his entire coaching staff and players, and was bringing about scandal after scandal, distraction after distraction. Compare Urban's locker room vs Dan Campbell's in Detroit.

Urban is the first tOSU football coach since Paul Brown who wasn't fired from the position. Woody, Earl, John and The Tat Man. All were fired, for one reason or another. Personally I liked John, 2-10-1, Cooper.

"Ohio State is so good, so loaded in talent, that even Urban Meyer was able to win there. Imagine how well OSU would have done against Michigan had they had a competent head coach!"
