You are right on everything. Timing is also important. I talked to a guy who lived alone who decided to get married after he said that he was sick with the flu. He had a hard time living alone while he was so sick according to him. Interestingly, the girl he was really in love with broke his heart, and then he started dating the new girl who he married as a rebound. They have been married since the late 80's, have children, and possibly grands by now.
