So here's my little village. This is where I live, my little village close to nature. Come along with me as I show you the neighborhood. You also get to meet some of my friends that I try and stay and chat whit as often as I can.

Sweden is a lovely country..went there back in the 70s.. I met a Swedish young man. He was a postman..his name was lars. A lovely person...we lost touch, as I’m from uk.

I used to live in Sweden many years ago in the 90s near Varnamo in Smoland. The nearby villages are exactly the same as we see in the video. Them were the days. The only thing I didn't like in Sweden is the very cold long winters. Sometimes it even snows till May. But the summer is fabulous in Sweden....24 hour Sun...Sitting on the green grass with beautiful small yellow flowers, watching the blue skies and cute kids with blonde hair running around playing. What a life it was?

Whenever I watch your videos it makes me want to up and move to a small Swedish countryside house. Sweden is on my bucket list to visit for sure. The fiancé loves islands and hot places where I crave mountains, snow and cooler places.

Sweden is so gentle and lovely. This young lady reminds me of my daughter who carries her father’s Swedish ancestry. She has Snow White skin, brown hair and light blue eyes as well. She traced her ancestry back to 1405 in Sweden.

BEAUTIFUL! It reminded me of when I was a young child and lived in a Swedish/Finnish village in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the mid 1940's. The name of the town was and still is Rock. We had two churches...one a Swedish church and across the road a Lutheran church where all the Finns went. I've never seen anything as beautiful until I saw your post just now. I miss that time of my life, when life was simple and not congested. I live near Seattle, Washington now where it is VERY congested with vehicles and takes a long time just to go a short distance. You are blessed to live there.

Dale Shepherd You should go visit the rural areas of WA. You will find many lovely little towns! Go to Leavenworth. Seattle is just like Oslo, Norway or big Swedish cities - congested and crowded.

@@babilx6216 it was a custom started by the king in the 18th century, as he saw a castle decked out in copper. He discovered that was very expensive, and instead painted his castle with this very specific red paint to give it a "richer" look. Soon thereafter, noblemen also wanted their houses painted red, and then eventually everyone followed suit. Some places will have only the side of the house that faces the street painted with this red paint, in case the king traveled that particular road. Apparently, the way the paint is manufactured also helps to seal out water and rot by becoming incorporated into the wood itself vs traditional latex or other paints that simply sit on top of the wood. Feel free to correct me anyone if need be! That's what I remember anyway 🤣

I love Sweden. I had been to Jonkoping few years back. I had visited Husqvarna also. I was there for almost 6 months .

Just beautiful! My late wife had Swedish and Finnish ancestors and although she grew up in the USA her family practiced quite a few traditions especially at Christmas. Christmas Eve dinner with lutefisk, homemade lefse, Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes with white sauce, peas and pickled herring as an appetizer. When my wife's father and his brother were still alive they would also make glogg. Oh, what a time that was! I actually learned to love lutefisk! I miss those days but your video made it feel like she was there watching with me! Thank you!
