Candle,it's great that you captured rescuing the bird in an artwork,it means you'll be reminded of that moment each time you look at the painting.I think the mix of styles will make the bird book look much richer visually.I create jewellery in the evenings to wind down as you do with knitting. Its good that you can evaluate your own creative progress,it makes you a better artist going forward and is motivating too.(Matt)
Hi Kriksis.. love your channel.. i bought some Molotow markers... but not sure how I can incorporate into my art process. can you please do a video for acrylic markers please? or advise how you use them in your art pieces? thank you.. lots of love from Australia.
Candle ❤ Knitting is my saviour from the disappointments in life. There’s a comfort in the rhythm of the pattern and movement of the needles. 😊 Thank you Kriksis, for sharing the ups and downs of being an artist.
Candle! And thank you for another calming video. It's great, that you have so many passions (and talents!) and they all have the same right, to get there time. Isn't it? So sometimes you have to knit the whole day! Perfect! And thank you for sharing your "failed picture" (which I nevertheless liked very much). What will you do with this paint? Put it to the bin? Never! Will you go over it again perhaps with acrylic gouache? It's so precious paper! I am so curious for the bird book! And the new pullover!
Thank you so much for kind words! :) I am not putting it in the bin, I might sell it on my website at some point as original, it's just not going into the book. Thanks Nicole!
Candle! Kriksis, I liked both pieces. It's a special documentation of your bird rescue. Your artwork is charming and I like the color palette. Did you knit the sweaters you wore in this video? If you did, I'm impressed.
Candle 🕯 You are doing really well and when you need to pull back you are doing really well too .. preserving energy to recharge yourself do somethingelse still beautiful like your knitting so well done and thank you for sharing your journey Kriksis ❤😊
Kriksis I can’t remember off the top of my head, but have you ever created your own colour palette with another company that one can buy like Natasha Newton? I love this palette in front of you and would love to get the same thing you have a very unique and consistent palette when you’re working on a certain pieceand I know I’m not the only one that would love to have one in front of me
Hello Jess! I haven't created, at least not yet, but I would be up for collaborating with DeepDeepLight or Essee handmade watercolours, I guess if people would spam their messages it could happen ;D Anyway, thank you for kind words and maybe there will be paint palette in future.
Cosy candles, great video - you are a natural storyteller and great to see your reflection on process. Not surprised that knitting took up some daytime brain it looks complicated!
candle ^-^ ! I 'm a knitter too and happy to see also your knitting project. In a way, knitting is my job because I run a yarn shop in France , and drawing is my hobby ^-^
@@kriksis it is called " le nid de la linotte" : we are in front of very old castle, in Normandy ( France). I design some socks / shawls / hat and mittens too, : most of my pattern are in French, but If you find something that you like, I will be happy to offer it to you : they are in ravelry and under the same name ^-^
The dress and the apron suits you so well! And thanks for showing us that art really is a long process of trial and error~ I really love the spinning thing with the candle underneath! It’s so whimsical
