i think it's safe to say the reason we don't see the villains being rehabilitated in the final season is because its already have been proven in the course of the show that it is possible. but it still bugs me that they just left them petrified instead of giving them a chance at being adopted into betterment. while discord goes scot free despite setting up the whole thing in the first place.

Cozy Glow is a emotionally disturbed child (which means something unforgettable happened in her childhood). She just needs someone to push her in the right direction (like diamond tiara like he said). I think it was wrong that the main 6 turned her to stone, when she was just a child that needs to be taught a valuable lesson.

Sawtooth’s videos were so fun. he is clearly talented at both music and theorizing. I am SAD 🥺

Personally when I first saw cozyglow in the series I thought she was going to be secretly Chrysalis in disguise trying to "learn" friendship so she could destroy it from within, only for her to truly CARE about the school and the student six in some event. Either Sombra returning *I mean he did, but he was wasted. Should have merged with the remains of the pony of shadows in the finale tbh*, Tirek returning, etc.

I think having starlight teach her at least some would help cozyglow a lot in being reformed

I love this idea. Diamond Tiara is the key for reforming Cozy Glow. It may take a lot of convincing, but Diamond Tiara has a very good chance. Cozy is not a lost cost. I’m telling you Cozy Glow and Diamond Tiara can be great friends. Also can I ship them? They are kinda adorable.

Pls pin. The description give the basis of the controversy, but here are more details for those who want it. The basic story of what happened goes as follows (yes, you'll have to read a bit but this is a condensed version of the mountains of text they gave): A 15-year-old fan (a name I've seen is Ash) was a big fan of Sawtooth and made art and videos for him. He eventually saw them and thanked her for the art. They became friends, talking about MLP theories. He has done this with many fans and even featured some in collabs on his episodes. Eventually she confesses that she has a crush on Sawtooth (whom had just turned 19), making him feel awkward about their relationship and initially denying her feelings back. Some weeks later, the conversation came back again he came back with a "maybe if you were older" type comment which gave her hope in that they could be a couple when she was older but for now would just be friends. Over the next year or so, they would become much closer, talking more openly about things like mental health, family situations, et cetera. They were essentially online bf and gf but didn't do too much apart from roleplay and virtual hugs and kisses. Typical teenager stuff. Then her mother comes in, and she is quite abusive to Ash and threatens Sawtooth to stop talking to her. This is when both parties realised how serious this relationship could be. They didn't want to give up being friends but were willing to put themselves at distance. They would go weeks or even months without talking because of her mother's rules, but they did occasionally mail to each other (as they had done prior while sending fanart to each other). During these separations, she became even more obsessive than she was to the point that she started ignoring her studies and failing in school. On the few times they did reconvene, Sawtooth warned her to not ignore school but she ignored his warnings. By about 2019, they were barely in any contact. Her mother placed a final strict separation between them, though Ash would still text Sawtooth, even though he refused to text back because of her mother's boundaries. A point that was brought up earlier was that when she turns 18, she can make her own decisions and wouldn't have to listen to her mother anymore. When she did turn 18, Sawtooth would start returning her texts and they would officially become a couple. At this point, they began exploring a mild sexual relationship (no one was forced or pressured to do anything), but this wouldn't last too long. The relationship was immediately toxic and ended barely 6 months (I believe) after it started. Sawtooth was the one to break it off. They apparently had a momentary FWB deal but there really is no detail as to how all of that went but they were both adults at this time so it generally isn't our business but it was clear their relationship had grown sour. Then by 2022, Ash told Sawtooth that she was gonna expose him for their relationship and Sawtooth knew that if she did, he would never be trusted again because he knows how the internet is gonna take stuff like this. She got him to beg that she not come forward because it would mean the end of his channel. He would eventually accept this and stopped making videos for a while. By February, both made posts around the same time detailing their sides and Sawtooth privated his channel. She blames him for being 19 and fraternising with a 15 year-old at the time and for being the reason she did bad in school and can't go to college. I'm not even framing it, that is literally what her trauma was; that she did bad and school and blames it on him. It's obvious to me at least that this was a masterclass of a nothing burger that honestly has nothing to do with us so there was no reason they should have actively destroyed his career, but we all know how the internet is. No one can make a mistake without being caught and cancelled for it, no matter how many years have passed or how small the mistake was.

Maybe if the young six and the C&C forgive her it will help. Sunset and Starlight went through a very similar situation and it wasn't just one friend but a group. I really like the idea of diamond,cozy and the C and C becoming friends.

Each of the three remaining villains I feel represent an absence of something. It’s like in ni no kuni, being broken hearted (which you can see in their broken forms/ mentalities). These absences warped their worldview, and their hearts/ minds became hardened to change. For chrysalis, it’s love. We don’t know the lineage of the changelings before chrysalis, but it was probably survival of the fittest if thorax’s backstory is what it’s like for all changelings (including royalty). Chrysalis probably grew in a harsh uncaring world and grew up only seeing relationships as resources for survival, no love, compassion or connection. Tirek- power. Feeling outgunned and outnumbered, perhaps of jealousy for the ponies’ prosperity, tirek only sought people for their magic to gain that magic for himself. Making others powerless while he becomes the only one with power. There’s definitely something wrong with his ego related to his family issues. Fixing this aggressive prideful desire might be the step in the right direction. Cozy Glow- although cozy wanted power much like her pen pal Tirek, her real void is control. I feel she lacks control over her own life, if her lack of family or parental figures are to show. If she had anyone to actual discipline and raise her properly, she would’ve turned out ok like a Pegasus version of diamonds tiara. Control in her life is what she needed, but thought only by controlling the power of friendship like a tyrant was the way to go. The way she controls others so her own life could have some sense of order amongst the chaos and tragedies that possibly had befell her. Sadly without much backstory (besides Tirek) There isn’t much beyond speculation, but every villain has an absence of something that is not only their weakness, but source of potential rehabilitation as well

Cozy Glow used to be a villain... But now that she's reformed by Diamond Tiara, that completely changes everything. Overall, I think Reforming Cozy Glow is just a piece of cake.... but I also liked the video, btw.

I do have one question, if you choose Diamond Tiara to help reform Cozy Glow, why is there a slightly older version of Flurry Heart there of you don’t mention her in this video at all. What kind of makes this a little funny is that when you look at Shirley Temple's history you can see she is a natural chess player even influence Jimmy Dunn's life in a good way so on and Ironic part that fits Cozys perspective Shirley is an ambassador and Cozy is similar but while Shirley do it for good Cozy did it for evil

Some people need more help than others. Not all narcissists are evil or want to be cruel. Not all controlling people see it as bad, even more so if it has worked in the past. Cozy Glow would be challenging, but she has the advantage of being young. That is about it. She would need therapy and some to regulate her and to call her out every day, not just when it becomes a disaster. Someone she respects and can keep her accountable. But that could be a challenge to find. My brother is also incredibly controlling and manipulative. He has issues with his alcohol, but I would say he does respect me even when he does not respect most women. He is also considered a genius and is skilled at chess. He gets bored when he is not challenged and can be incredibly self-destructive because he also has bipolar disorder. As I learned to stand up to him, he has improved. I know how he works and his manipulative strategies. Cozy Glowly would probably need a brother or a sister to call her out on her manic BS. But I am not sure if she has one. I would say medication, but that does not always work.

This theory collapses due to relying on the "it wasn't directly corroborated so it doesn't exist" rhetoric regarding malicious cutie marks. In my opinion, Cozy Glow is irredeemable because her destiny is to manipulate and bring about chaos. She is a psychopath, which means that she does not have a complex motivation to provide a better insight as to why she is so diabolical. We can piece together her backstory except the whereabouts and identities of her parents, but nothing cataclysmic occurred that would lead her down this path: she is merely an irredeemable psychopath. There were DEFINITELY better things to do with cozy glow than to turn her to stone... especially with the fact that while in stone they are conscious- that's just cruel... Cozy's main issue goig forward would be the influence of others around her. She believes friendship is a cause of pain and wants to have it destroyed, and Chrysalis affirms this belief.
