I always wanted crysalis to be reformed because she would’ve looked so pretty

I feel like queen chrysalis's reformed design would look more rough and dark but still cheery like Pharynx's. Who else agrees?

We had an entire episode on not being afraid of others because they're intimidating, scary, or different-looking... and it all goes right out the window with the Changelings.

Holy Dang!!! Chrysalis looks BEAUTIFUL in her reformed state, but i acknowledge that this isnt an official design by Hasbro.......it really should be!!! I could easily label her as the most beautiful character design in ALL of MLP, fandom and official; I wish i was joking.

Since the Season 10 comics ended off as Chrysalis was just about to free herself, after the biggest fight in the entire MLP franchise since the Season 9 finale, this could have been the immediate direction that our heroes would have to have figured out...if the story continued at all, of course.

Reforming chrysalis would be a challenge.

She then picks him up with her magic and sucks up all of his love,leaving him on the floor depressed.(Like showing no sign of love depressed) Basically Pharynx would have to go through depression for a week or less.

Chrysalis just feels so bad because she could not be the mother that her son thorax deserves.😢

Of course she wouldn’t warm up the idea immediately, what’s holding her back isn’t pony culture, It’s what she associates with pony culture, which are the same ponies who shunned her and treated her like a monster, instead of trying to understand her and help her. she feels like she needs justice when there’s no one left to give her justice, she needs to get rid of the idea that all ponies are just as bad as the ones who treated her badly.

I wonder if Cozy and Tirek would have accepted the magic of friendship if Chrysalis hadn't been there to snap them out of it

I think Chrysalis was mostly misunderstood at first because she was only doing what a good hive queen at the wedding, she was just trying to find food for her chi children which as a hive queen she is the mother of them all the big evil thing she did then was she betrayed her children just so she could selfishly milk Shinning Armor for Power in the form of his love she really only became truly evil later around when she started to clash with Starlight.

Pls pin. The description give the basis of the controversy, but here are more details for those who want it. The basic story of what happened goes as follows (yes, you'll have to read a bit but this is a condensed version of the mountains of text they gave): A 15-year-old fan (a name I've seen is Ash) was a big fan of Sawtooth and made art and videos for him. He eventually saw them and thanked her for the art. They became friends, talking about MLP theories. He has done this with many fans and even featured some in collabs on his episodes. Eventually she confesses that she has a crush on Sawtooth (whom had just turned 19), making him feel awkward about their relationship and initially denying her feelings back. Some weeks later, the conversation came back again he came back with a "maybe if you were older" type comment which gave her hope in that they could be a couple when she was older but for now would just be friends. Over the next year or so, they would become much closer, talking more openly about things like mental health, family situations, et cetera. They were essentially online bf and gf but didn't do too much apart from roleplay and virtual hugs and kisses. Typical teenager stuff. Then her mother comes in, and she is quite abusive to Ash and threatens Sawtooth to stop talking to her. This is when both parties realised how serious this relationship could be. They didn't want to give up being friends but were willing to put themselves at distance. They would go weeks or even months without talking because of her mother's rules, but they did occasionally mail to each other (as they had done prior while sending fanart to each other). During these separations, she became even more obsessive than she was to the point that she started ignoring her studies and failing in school. On the few times they did reconvene, Sawtooth warned her to not ignore school but she ignored his warnings. By about 2019, they were barely in any contact. Her mother placed a final strict separation between them, though Ash would still text Sawtooth, even though he refused to text back because of her mother's boundaries. A point that was brought up earlier was that when she turns 18, she can make her own decisions and wouldn't have to listen to her mother anymore. When she did turn 18, Sawtooth would start returning her texts and they would officially become a couple. At this point, they began exploring a mild sexual relationship (no one was forced or pressured to do anything), but this wouldn't last too long. The relationship was immediately toxic and ended barely 6 months (I believe) after it started. Sawtooth was the one to break it off. They apparently had a momentary FWB deal but there really is no detail as to how all of that went but they were both adults at this time so it generally isn't our business but it was clear their relationship had grown sour. Then by 2022, Ash told Sawtooth that she was gonna expose him for their relationship and Sawtooth knew that if she did, he would never be trusted again because he knows how the internet is gonna take stuff like this. She got him to beg that she not come forward because it would mean the end of his channel. He would eventually accept this and stopped making videos for a while. By February, both made posts around the same time detailing their sides and Sawtooth privated his channel. She blames him for being 19 and fraternising with a 15 year-old at the time and for being the reason she did bad in school and can't go to college. I'm not even framing it, that is literally what her trauma was; that she did bad and school and blames it on him. It's obvious to me at least that this was a masterclass of a nothing burger that honestly has nothing to do with us so there was no reason they should have actively destroyed his career, but we all know how the internet is. No one can make a mistake without being caught and cancelled for it, no matter how many years have passed or how small the mistake was.

Sadly Princess Twilight is no longer around. Spike explains it in MLP GEN 5 Make Your Mark Chapter 6. Yeah Spike the dragon is still around. But he's the Dragon Lord now, leader of the Dragons. Only one who could help reform the former Changeling Queen. Is none other then Hitch Trailblazer himself. Cause characters from Gen 4 are long gone now.

Maybe him having a changeling ponysona makes sense for that drama.

perhaps chrysalis could help bring back certain parts of original changeling culture.

Heres my lil theory,i think that the holes in crysalis represend the times shes been used/betrayed and the void that has been left,and you can even see that she actually wanted help and to take starlights hand,but had to remind herself to stopd out of fear of getting betrayed/used again

I have an idea for a new name for reformed Chrysalis, and the name would represent her character growth and stick with the theme naming of the Changelings: Mariposa. The next stage after a chrysalis is a butterfly, and all of the changelings have insect-themed names, right? Well, just calling her butterfly would be a bit too on the nose, and sounds kinda pony-ish, so how about the Spanish word for butterfly? Her new title could even be “Matriarch Mariposa”, since they already have a king, it wouldn’t quite feel right to have her retain the queen title, so it could be fitting

Maybe chrysalis should be a janitor.😂

Olha só, o Carlinhos Thorax que era servo da Elvira Chrysalis ele procurou uma forma de querer mudar pra melhor né, e então deu tudo certo ele mudou e se tornou uma nova pessoa mas quem fez ele e os Changelings se reformarem foi a Starlight usando seus poderes e todos foram transformados em novos Changelings ai eu gostei gostei demais dessa novidade.

I must say I think your opinion on how Thorax is altering the Changling’s culture is a very closed minded way of looking at it What culture ultimately is, is the shared way we express ourselves and cultures are often influenced by other cultures where certain people often borrow what they like about other cultures. It doesn’t matter whether you keep or remove certain aspects and traditions the only thing that matters is what you feel is important Also consider the way Ocellus feels about celebrating hearthswarming she clearly took a liking to it and that’s how culture is influenced
