My older brother had a 55 Ford like his. He went hunting and struck out but did catch an armadillo to bring home to pet. By time he got home the creature had crawled inside the passenger door. We never did figure that out.
That's Your Opinions!👎.....THIS WAS GREAT ,!! ....MY fav scene when Col opens fires to save him .. That WW11 generation!! Tough! !reminded me of my Daddy ..USAF RETIRED pilot instructor...& Uncle Bob.. Captain Robert McHolland USARMY died in action Germany 1945..... All American Patriots laugh that off if you can
I was one year old when this came out. I know none of these actors but it was fun! What that doc had for hair before he went on the lam was crazy...daddy-o. Lol. I love the old cars too. Always a thing in my fam. Now that my Dad and Mom and oldest little bro are gone, not so much, but I really miss that. And them. Thank you for the deep dive into nostalgia🙏🏼😉 So scary how fast time is moving! To me anyway it seems to move faster every year. Now that I'm pretty much past my prime, I really notice. And I have this niggling itch to try to hold on. Slow it uk? I hate the media and stores and stuff selling like Halloween 2 mths early. My fave season and Fall. When you're a kid you're all for longer times to enjoy. But you don't get that it's actually pushing it away faster for the next big money holiday. So sad.💔
Thanks for finding and posting this terrific movie. In addition to the storyline, I enjoyed the opportunity to reminisce about the various vehicles of my youth. There's a lot of Fords, and if I'm correct, a couple of either Mercurys or Lincolns too.
Hi Rob! You have a new subscriber. I "like" all the films I watch (so I can remember which ones I've seen.) I'll try to remember to comment, even if it's just to say, hi Rob! I loved this film!
This movie turned out to be better than I expected. All the cars were Ford, except the Lincoln Continental and I think Ford owned that back in the 60’s.
I remember the motels from the 60"s. They were just as nice as the ones you see in this movie. And the folks managing these places weren"t of a foreign extraction...
mikeklassen....Car was not an Edsel, but a Lincoln. Similar look in the front area. A very cushy car interior. My bffs mom drove one of that era. Lincoln.
Really good movie. But why in the heck didn't she tell him that the g 47:26 uys had the picture of him and they were looking for him as soon as she saw him.Really enjoyed the period
Classic actor Willis B is l great 👍 n this..hes in lots movies first saw in Horse Soldiers":2/wvJohn Wayne& Constance Towers great movie too .. wonderful voice Mr Willis B..actor
Talk about poor planning . For someone expecting Killers to come and get them. They had zero defense. And it makes no sense why didn't the old guy shoot Craven. He nailed the one guy and then let Craven go
I really enjoyed watching this 1961 black and white movie! Old movies are my favorite!! The cast was great, old cars were fantastic, and I loved the setting and storyline! And that lodge was my kind of place, loved it!! Thank you so much for posting!🙏🩷🫠 1:12:41 1:12:41
Dr. Frank Harlow is in the process of trying to save a man badly beaten by two gangsters whom he identifies to the police. When the victim dies the charge becomes murder and Harlow hightails it to the far woods where he finds a job as clerk Roger Condon in a sporting-goods store. Harlow's plan is to lay low until the gangsters forget about him. But complications arise from two different sectors. First, Harlow falls in love with the local beauty Laurie Maitland and second, the murderers find out where he is hiding
A corny but fun movie, a quite predictable ending. I must admit i think i enjoyed the cool cars and the pretty and ditzy blonde more than anything. Funny, the opening scene, the gangsters driving in a 1960 Lincoln Premiere 4 door. I have the exact car outside in my garage right now, had it since 1977.
All this talk about shooting wild animals being a hobby or something a man can loose himself in, something he really loves to do, is rather nasty. Watch 14:41
24:22 You owe me $5.60, That's a fill up & qt of oil. But at 25:12 get into car, at 25:26 attendant goes to back & pulls hose out, then as car pulls off put on pump. Tell's ya he's an actor cause sure would've topped off for a few cents more....and wouldn't want to make a splash if nozzle clicked on as hit the pavement.
I made it 20 mins into this one. 5 of those last minutes were of me taking clothes out of my dryer. This one from me gets a big thumbs down. Lead is a very poor actor. Btw, I LOVE old movies!
