♪ "Won't Let Go" - A Minecraft Music Video/Song ♪ 

I have a theory. This takes place years after the fallen kingdom saga. The king has rebuilt his domain, humans are prospering after "the war". With the Pig Kingdom into rubble, the humans are mostly free to travel to the Nether without much issue. Out of the ashes, remnants of that kingdom or maybe a rival kingdom has seen the decimation of their fellow pigmen. So they take retribution by kidnapping miners and turning them into wither skeletons to bolster their ranks. Notice how instead of the body disintegrating altogether, the lava leaves the skeleton and turns it dark. I assume there is some sort of wizard pigman or some other mob we don't know of yet that has brought these skeletons to life, and developing their technique to make them soldiers for them, to continue the plan of invading the human dimension.

If minecraft was actually like this, imagine how intense it would be.

This video still brings a tear to my eye every time. The pigman willing to risk everything to save two humans he didn't even know, and how in return, one of the humans sacrificed himself to save the pigman. It's awe inspiring. People who are just doing the right thing.

This was simply incredible, also thanks for not killing a dog in this one.

When you put a human in lava, the skeleton will grow taller, the skin will burn off and the bones will become charred, logic. Make sure you put a name tag on that pig man otherwise he will disappear

It's surprising how much story you can tell with minecraft models who can even speak. I pretty much understood almost everything they went through with that blocky facial animation. The animator gets my approval.

This was published in 2017. I watch this kind of stuff all the time, Captain Sparklez stuff in particular. HOW DID THIS ONE ELUDE ME???? Brilliant work, again, both story and music...but holy hell...the tragedy! Even gamers only have so many hearts, you know! Every time I watch one of these story music vids from Captain Sparklez, I'm down another heart... I also agree with other commenters here - this story cannot end here! I need MOAR!

Won't Let Go is one of my early favorites and one of the first songs I got from Jordan's music channel. So, having that as background to this particular animation is great to hear. I believe That we could build A world to call our home... Wanting just to see The person i set out to be You have a song of two sides. There is trust and confidence in the person, in you and the connection between to make a potential relationship. At the same time, there is the open door to things not working out as one person recognizes things do change as people develop and learn about themselves. Those initial emotional dreams may fade as you learn about each other and grow. That idea of two opposing ideas going at once, fits very well with the story in the animation. In the video we have a character stuck between two worlds. They are of a kind that is destined to a certain expected fate and purpose. Yet, they see beyond their world, literally and figuratively. The human world with it's freedom, beauty and variety counters the one they were stuck in. Our character immediately finds the value in it. The inherent question from those in the human world is simple: Can we believe you are trustworthy? Obviously in the animation and in Minecraft, Pigmen are enemies, or at least potentially so. The rapid revelation to this particular character of a different world, and one he is innately drawn to is familiar and effectively illustrated in the animation. The wonder and acceptance is readily apparent. Of course those in that world, could be forgiven if they do not return the same immediate trust in someone who was prior, among those who tormented them. What it took was that one open act of rebellion against all that they were supposed to believe in, all that they were supposed to be. Show what you believe, Show who you really are. And then, it had to be that one person who would, for just a moment, take that act and admission, at face value. That one person who believes you could build a world with our character welcomed into it. It is trust in someone, with all the inherent risk that involves. It is trust in someone who has found who they are and acted with surety. The two opposing thoughts in the song, resolved. It may never be easy to reach that pinnacle of development and maturity. In the animation it is involves the sacrifice of another. That first person who gave our character trust, faced the wrath of those whose expectations for our character were betrayed. A heavy burden, to our character. As we go through actual life, some may reap the more unfortunate consequences of a person's personal evolution. People change, and not everyone is going to be happy about it or where that leads. Everyone who refuses to stay still in life, has to deal with that and understand, ultimately, it is necessary. Just, be true from then on, to make that kind of trouble worthwhile. Our character shows the face of someone who has the understanding of the value of the sacrifice. As always, the animation itself is beautifully done. The characters are made so well and are easily emotionally understandable, bringing the story to life. Given what our main character looks like, that is a big accomplishment. The video relied on that. Well done to the entire team from Jordan to 2CODlosers.

Seriously, when are you gonna start tying these separate music video stories together? They all could easily exist within the same Minecraft world, so I'm expecting it. Knowing you, it'll be some big, pivotal incident that brings all the characters together, followed by a video where they get to know each other and get along better, followed by one more video where they don't all make it, but the world is saved. I'm expecting these, SparklyPants.

did anyone notice that the Guy and Dog from rush over me made a quick cameo in this video but the thing is that the dog is still a puppy. but something which makes me think is that in a way, and this is just a theroy that all three of these music videos are connected somehow. I feel that if we were to look somewhere in the village we'd see one or both of the characters from we are the night. This is just a theroy however so idk for sure
