www.PianoClubho... This is a lesson/tutorial/how to play "IF ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT" by Luther Vandross. Check out my other tutorials at PianoClubhouse.com.
I agree that maybe he could slow down a bit, but if you cant pick it up at this pace with him giving you the chords and keys then maybe you should go back to the basics, lets remember he didn't HAVE to share this with us. ijs.
I know y'all were lookin for a good formula to teach keyboard to the masses, because i know C-dub is one of the best keyboard players on youtube, but hope you consider making a new tutorial of this song I think a lot of people but really be happy with a new tutorial along with the midi keyboard. because it lower frustration and increase "the learnin curve "
is there any real difference in saying whether its in the key of c major or Aminor ? the notes are all the same I guess ? (just wondering whether its wrong or right to say its in A minor etc) is it mostly just how oneself sees where the tonic is ? (i.e. the scales are exactly the same ?) thanks :)
I see this was done in the early yrs. i hope you re-do this song because it's so beautiful and i would love to learn it, but i wouldn't even try in this form! this is what can kill your enthusiasm for learning a new tutorial because it's hard to learn off of this type of teaching and the biggest thing that kills that is frustration I've talked to a lot of keyboard players and when you get frustrated to the point you can't learn the song you get down on yourself and you stop wanting to learn or wanting to play the keyboard.
