Some of the videos I've enjoyed the most, which also seem to perform well on your channel, include: 1. Your trips and ventures around Japan. 2. POV videos, like "day in the life" segments. 3. Apartment and house hunting videos - the golden content for Japan enthusiasts. 4. Productivity and work-focused videos - "a day in the life" of your work routine. While I appreciate your passion for your animals and garden, those segments are starting to feel repetitive. These might be better suited for Instagram stories rather than taking up significant portions of your weekly vlogs, which are typically around fifteen minutes long. I love seeing your pets and plants, but the main draw for many of us is seeing the unique aspects of a Black woman's life thriving in Japan. Despite living in Japan for almost ten years, we rarely see the raw moments of your interactions with Japanese people in various settings like convenience stores, cafes, and hotels. Even though you're not fluent in the language, that's precisely the content many of us are eager to see - how you navigate daily life in Japan despite the language barrier. This kind of content is both educational and entertaining. Additionally, you often mention having a lot of work to do, but it would be great if you could take us through your workflow. Show us more about what you do, who you work with, and the details of your projects. Sharing the "who, what, when, where, and why" of your work would be incredibly inspiring. Many of us are fascinated by how you've managed to build and sustain a life in Japan, and seeing the details of your grind would be motivating. Here are a few more suggestions: 1. Cultural Experiences: Create videos that explore Japanese culture from your perspective. This could include festivals, traditional practices, and local customs that you encounter in your daily life. 2. Personal Stories: Share more personal stories and experiences from your time in Japan. This could include funny anecdotes, memorable moments, or significant milestones in your life there. 3. Omg this was so awesome to see. I live in Okinawa and the hubby and I went to our first Juneteenth festival on the island this past weekend (we kept missing it due to vacations) and we had a blast, it was right off the beach and people from all walks of life showed up it was nice. I cracked up when “Before I Let Go” played in your video because they played it at ours too and of course folks were doing “The Electric Slide” and the people who pledged in college did they’re line moves too. It would be really nice to go to a Juneteenth in mainland too, we’ve already met the owners of Soul Food house so we’d see some familiar faces and who knows we may have known some other folks there too. LOL! I've only taken trips to Japan in late June, July, and August. I like the heat. I was even running around at Disney Sea in July. I walked right up to the ticket window, no line, bought a ticket, and went right in. It was nice to not have tons of crowds, probably due to the heat.
