Hi Ellie , - 2" - 3" is just a guide for the oval shape you can always adjust it if needed , the goal is to have an oval shape - now for the 21" armhole , you just have to divide it by 4 , then use the quotient as your guide to draft the curve line - after cutting and unfolding the paper , double check the circumference if its equal to 21 , - dont be afraid to trim the oval if needed to achieve the 21" armhole

Hi , actually yung 3 × 2 ay guide lang para maging oblong shape ang armhole kung 14 ang armhole mo pwede mo unti -unting bawasan yung shape till ma-achieve mo ang 14 na circumference or kung nakatupi si oblong ng 1/4 , yung curve must be 3.5" , double check mo lng using your tape measure . Sana malinaw pagkaka-explain ko 🙏😊

Hi Jude , for me hindi 😊 dahil may ibang method din na gingawa ang ibang fashion school or ibang mga designers , even yung mahal nating mga elderly na sewer they have their own way din.... you can use this method as your foundation 🙏 and kung may standard man , I would love to learn that... yung iba ata may hulmahan pa na kahoy to make this sleeves.
