I have a 2017 that has never leaked 1 drop until I finally disconnected it first the first time last week. I told myself to never remove the loader for that reason. If it continues I will convert mine also. Thanks for the video.

Thanks much for this video -- I noticed that the stock quick connector rocks back and forth about 1/8" when loader hydro maxes out, that why it leaks. Bad design Kubota. I eventually plan to delete it like you've shown, but as a quick fix, I've put a 2" hose clamp around either end of the connection to stop the movement and leak. For those looking for parts list to delete, you need: 4x - 1/4" NPT 1/4" body Flat Face Hydraulic Quick Connect Female Coupler AND 4x - 1/4" NPT Male to 3/8" JIC male adapter

Mine always leaked at the second connector in but great observation catching that with yours 👍👍👍

I got 450+ hrs on my 2380 and LOVE IT! It had 1.5 when they delivered it. Maybe try setting the mower cut height dial to “0” so the bracket arms lower fully. And keep all those pins and springs sprayed with red & tacky! As far as the hydraulic leak, yeah meee toooo! I hate that connection when it doesn’t work and love it when it does! Could you include what connectors you used? I didn’t see it in the description. Thanks for your content Brother!

I need to add that and man I’ll try the deck level but I want to think I’d did that but I’m missing something it’s is a huge pain , thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Brother, I have been spending lots of money on Hydrolic Fluid. F*** Kubota, I should have bought a John Deere. I just ordered the parts to fix the dawm leak.

Kubota just extended the warranty to 5 years on the loader quick connect. And they have a replacement coupler. My dealer says they have to do the work tho…..

My BX2380 is from summer of 2021, and now at 95 hours. I pull the loader usually to mow and haven’t had leaks. Your mower setup seems different, but mine is not drive over. I tend to leave the mower on as a brush guard and to avoid the install effort. I just built a grapple and used the flat face connectors for it, no leaks once the connections are sorted. If you check your fluids, you would know the front was low or empty, just sayin. Yeah, the dealers aren’t perfect either.

I would leave the deck on too but it won’t work with my plow installed so deck comes off to make room. Not a joy at all lol

Haven't had any issues with the hydraulic quick coupler on my BX2680, so far at 50 hours. Supposedly the newer ones have a redesigned setup I guess, have no clue, but I haven't had any leaks with mine, but I don't take my loader off very often either, 3 times in the 10 months I've owned it that I've taken the loader off. As far as those hard lines on the loader, I can see that being an issue, haven't hit them yet, but probably only a matter of time, and they certainly could be put somewhere else, they're hard lines and they can bend them for crying out loud, so there's no reason they couldn't have bent them out of the way...maybe next time you hit them with the brush guard, hit them harder and bend them back out of the way better LOL. I honestly don't see where having 4 individual hoses/couplers for the loader is that hard to deal with, I guess if those colored caps aren't there it might become interesting to get stuff hooked up properly, but I'm sure there's tricks out there for that too. Unless I have an issue with my quick coupler I won't mess with it but good to know about alternatives to that thing. I have the non-drive over deck, and those lift arm brackets are a pain to get locked in on it as well, if the deck isn't exactly lined up forget about them locking in. The front mount is a pain too, requires a hammer to get the spring pin to lock in it too. I'm getting ready to do the 50 hour service on mine here in the next day or so. Gotta get it done and over with...and get done with the mess LOL. I'll be doing all the fluids and filters, about $400 worth of fluids and filters on this go round.

Yeah I take my loader off constantly. Check that front axle for fluid lol I heard they change the design but they wouldn’t update mine under warranty 🤦‍♂️

400 hours and the loader comes off every fall. No hydraulic leaks yet. If they ever do I will fix em like you did. I had the 3/4 empty front axle too but didn't check it til 268 hours. Seems like everyone did.

I only take my loader off in the late fall to put my snow blower on and put it back on again after snow is over in late spring. I have had to re-seat the connector at first a couple of times but the problems have never persisted. I don't love the quick connect, but don't hate it either. I do think that the whole quick connect and Quik-tach loader thing is really over hyped nonsense. How hard is it to hook up four pioneer couplers? How hard is it to get down off the tractor a couple of times to remove a pin or let the stand of the loader down? Its really not worth the extra expense and complexity, IMO. Especially when I only change it out a couple of times a year.

I just did mine today. A simple fix for something I thought would be difficult. You don’t have to touch the tractor side. Just clean it real good because your leak will be gone and it’s a nice clean look. YEET IT!!
