Thank god Leo P is doing work like this for bari players out there. As a bari player hearing bari specific advice is rare and treasured when I hear it. Leo is my #1 favorite bari player and I strive to play like him. So doing his course is like a gift from heaven
I love that you’re doing this sort of thing. Teaching how to be more efficient and effective on a horn rather than “muscling things out” is something that I will always advocate for

I play tenor, I started with clarinet.. when I started tenor our band director was in the hospital. I ended up resorting completely to the Bari to teaching me techniques and one of them was for playing B♭

It doesn't work because of the enharmonic tones. Not every tone in the scale is a full step above the last. The third & fourth tones are only a half step apart. Same with the seventh & eighth
