Synopsis:

It's disappointing that this female character feels he is worthy enough to 'take him back', apparently forgetting the horrible times he CHOSE to put her through. Humiliation, mental abuse, as well as intimidation and bullying weren't enough to dissuade her from taking an abuser and cheater back. Women like her think, '...oh, he's learned his lesson...", when all he's learned is YOU haven't learned anything! He's learned he has a live-in punching bag whenever he feels low or angry.

This drama should be titled: what woman shouldn't do if she respects herself. 1. not to tolerate affair but leave immediatelly, stop being delusional that he cares about her 2. Never take such a man bach, he'll do it again, very probably... or hurt her in other ways because he is a selfish narcissist... and they never change...

At last, ZouKai learned how to express his love and enjoyed to be loved by his wife. His personality was raised to be lonely and protective. Those high ranked executives and wealthy people seldom let their feelings show. From his lonely childhood, he had not been trained to be well communicated and considerate. Then he was handicapped in building up good companionship in marriage. After his wife left him, he thoroughly regretted and worked hard for changes to be a real husband. The final episode delivered short presentation about what his performance to bridge up convincing details.

Being uncommunicative is one thing but to have an ongoing affair while totally ignoring his pregnant wife is another. He was damnably cold to his wife and child. He only regretted after she left and his other woman was starting to see other men? I would NEVER have forgiven such a husband. Sue for child support and good alimony and find a good man.

If I were her I wouldn't forgive him too easily even if you love him. He should suffer first and really show that he repented and even if they get back together she couldn't just lovey-dovey with him right away

And I would NOT forgive him being violent toward my male friend. It shows a) a complete lack of respect for her and her choices and autonomy, b) that he considers her his property and c) that he has no problem escalating to physical violence unproved. Wow! He would have to work doubly hard to win back any trust after that!

It is shameful (and wrong) that she interpreted his violence against another man as evidence of his supposed “love” for her, rather than correctly interpreting it as him being a violent and controlling man who doesn’t take no for an answer. قمة السخافة بصراحة ايش هذا ؟؟!! ترجع له و تسامحه لانه ضرب. صديقها !! و تعليلها انه يحبها و يغار عليها !! ايش هالمنطق الغبي! كان لازم لما يقول لها صديقك ليس صديقي و يطلب منها ترجع له ، تذكره كيف كان يخونها و يتركها و كان متجرها اصلا و لا يعاملها كزوجة او حبيبة و كيف انها كانت تتغافل عنه و استقبلت حتى عشيقته على العشاء و ضيفتها الاحداث بالبداية كانت ماشية شوية صح، هي حاولت تصبر و تخليه يحبها، بقت معاه بعد الولادة العسرة اللي تركها فيها لحالها و اهملها و رغم هذا سامحته و عاشت معاه سنة خلته يذوق طعم العائلة و الحنية و يتعلق ببنته لكن بعد ما دفعها وراح يركض لعشيقته و خلاها تصارخ و تبكي كان لازم تكمل للطلاق خصوصا انه بهذه السنتين معاها ما عمره عاملها كزوجة و كحبيبة حتى النوم ينام عالكنبة !! لذلك الاحداث كان لازم تمشي بمشوار عقابه و تاديبه ثم تغيره ثم يحبها و يركض وراها بعدها ممكن ترجع له بعد سنة او اكثر و ترجع حتى تتزوجه و ممكن تجيب طفل ثاني منه لكن تمرير القصة بهذه السهولة و السخافة كان بمنتهى الاستخفاف بعقول المشاهدين بعدين قصة هذين الزوجين هي الاجمل و الافضل بالمسلسل كان لازم تكون هي القصة الرئيسية لان باقي الاحداث عن بنت عمتها الكبيرة فيها سخافات كثيرة و القصة تلف و تدور و تطول بدون اي معنى

بجد المسلسلات الصينية أسوأ من التركي فكرت انها قصص قصيره ونخلص طلعت كلها خيانه مفيش لا بطل الا وخان زوجته مع العشيقه او الصديقه السابقه واضح ان الحبيبه السابقه او الصديقه ليها شغف قوي عندهم لدرجه ان المفروض الزوجه عندهم لازم تتأكد تماما ان مفيش عشيقه سابقه ولا هتندم أشد الندم ده حاجه ممله كل المسلسلات عن خيانة الزوج مع الاكس

@@rababshaban3055 فيه مسلسلات اجتماعية حلوة اكتشفتها و انا اتفرج، و فعلاً قصص الخيانة الزوجية عندهم كثيرة جداً و اغلب المسلسلات الآسيوية و منها الكورية تطرح هالمشكلة،. اتوقع عندهم هالموضوع كثير و منتشر، في مجتمعاتنا مثلا و مسلسلاتنا دائما يطلعون التعدد او زواج السر ! يعني كل ناس و همهم لكن من المسلسلات الاحتماعية لحلوة اللي انصح بمشاهدتها مسلسل السند مسلسل وداعاً حبي مسلسل النصف الاول من حياتي مسلسل الى نفسي العزيزة مسلسل بسبب الحب مسلسل لاجل حبي مسلسل لاجل الحب مسلسل كما كنا من قبل مسلسل اشراق بلدي (مدبلج) و فيه مترجم ، هذا رومانسي و ليس اجتماعي بالغالب و فيه مسلسلات اجتماعية حلوة ممكن الواحد يكتشفها بالصدفة 😅

This is one of my "go-to" dramas for reasons I can't really articulate...LOL....but I will say one of the key elements that were missing is that up until about 2020 (this movie is a 2019 make). adultery was a crime in China that, if convicted resulted in prison time for the cheating husband and his partner. Throughout Asia, there are versions of this law. Adultery is still grounds for divorce... and comes with much stiffer "penalties" for the cheating spouse financially (they get much less if anything in community property). I would have divorced him on the ground of adultery and sued the mistress for alienation of affection---which is a law in the US and can be used against the partner of the cheating spouse. But then again....this is fiction. In some US states, adultery is a felony in others a misdemeanor. Cheers, Hope

The script didn't dedicate too much time to these two so it's not clear if he actually did cheat on his wife physically or just psychologically, or whether there were too many misunderstandings.

It doesn’t actually matter if he cheated physically (he didn’t). He was still emotionally, verbally, and maybe physically abusive to her. He went into the marriage with no plan to respect her at all; continued to denigrate her; was emotionally unfaithful with his ex girlfriend. Ignored her multiple phone calls when she was scared and alone having a traumatic childbirth of HIS CHILD! And then he literally walks out on her and the baby while both are sobbing. None of those were “misunderstandings”. She had actual feelings for him. She went into the marriage in good faith er and was supportive and loving of him. He couldn’t even treat her as well as a random stranger.
