I got my Allies Silk Amino cleanser and have been using it for about a week. First impressions: I really don't like the smell 😕 and wish it had a flip top cap (packaging is very nice, but it's so slippery in the shower!) HOWEVER, I have to say that this is probably the nicest cleanser I have ever used! Feels so luxurious on the skin, and my skin is super plump and hydrated after using! 🎉 Loving it ❤ The price tag is quite high, but boy this gives great results. Will probably wait for another BOGO to re-purchase/stock up. Do they only do BOGO once per year? or?

Thanks Mary, purchased the Allies of Skin eye cream during BOGO on your recommendation, and plan to purchase the peptide cream during the next one. Just ordered Josh Rosebrook hydrating mask on the same basis. I tend to order only to replace, but good luck to all those who go for this nice bundle...

I think it's a keeper, but I'm still dealing with some dullness/crepey skin under eye. Also using Oneskin during day & tretinoin at night. May have to resort to something more than skincare! @@SkinObsessedMary

@@SkinObsessedMary I tried fraxel & it seemed only to dry the skin out (not unlike Nira, by the sounds of it). Don't have anything in mind to follow; I'd like to learn more and find something targeted to this problem by design, or demonstrably well-suited for it. p.s. already doing my red-light therapy

Dear Mary, do you think rosacea sensitive skin can handle mandelic acid, vitamin c or any other serums?

Hi there! I don't have sensistiive skin but I do know mandelic acid molecules are larger, so it mightn't go as keep into the skin, causing less irritation. As for vitamin C, I'd look for products with 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid - this is a more stable form of vit c that is non-irritating. I use the Allies of Skin 20% Brighten & Firm but you'll find a ton of brands make it

Mary, do AOS have a lip exfoliant that you recommend? Or another brand? Or (yet another or!) is a lip exfoliant necessary? I have very dry lips, but maybe my lip balm isn't hydrating enough, or I'm not applying it regularly enough.

You know....I don't use one regularly. I did buy the scrub by Fresh years ago and it just sat on my bathroom shelf. Instead what I do most evenings (during my double cleanse) is give a decent scrub to my lips with my washcloth. Then I apply a little lip oil as I do my skincare. Just before bed i apply the Laneige lip mask (the same pot has been near my bed for a year 😂 ). Works a treat 👍

I am so disappointed that I can not go into the competition as I am in Australia and the only way I can buy it is via the Mecca store in Australia where I am going to buy the eye cream as my dermo has been controlled. At the moment, I am using Bescher it is an Australian product but very good for people who suffer from dermatitis etc they use sea cucumber it is worth a look if you are interested I can give you the info?

I buy mine from Mecca. They don't do the BOGO unfortunately, but I started using the Peptide Face Cream after seeing it come up on Mary's favourites time and time again. It is lovely and great for travelling! 🌞

@@gogo61lovesthis34 Thanks. Yeah I too go to Mecca (begrudgingly, as a last resort sometimes). Everyone but Mecca does sales. Things are already pricey enough by the time they get to Aus with both currency conversion and transportation, so really don't like how Mecca doesn't consider their customers. They have boxing day sale on limited items that they want to move that stock. They have exclusivity on a lot of the brands they supply and don't offer any of the sales or gifts with purchases that are offered worldwide. I don't like supporting them, for that reason.

I don’t get this obsession with Allies, they’re so incredibly overpriced for what they offer. Really unimpressed with their Peptides & Antioxidants firming daily treatment that you gush about for £120 - it sits on top of my skin and doesn’t play well with my sunscreen so I’m now using it as a night cream just to get rid of it. Such a waste of money. I do hope this isn’t just sales hype Mary? Your followers trust you. I’ve found a more elegant formula/alternative (from another channel) Neogen Dermology High R Exosome Cream for just £16, it’s wonderful and has a plethora of skin loving peptides and other incredible ingredients Please don’t fall for the hype as I did. ❤
