When you take a break after a long time playing, you'll notice improvements, i think i might know why this happens, but i think mrekk is exploiting this by playing three or four months, derusting, get better, and rinse and repeat. I also noticed when coming back from a break, YOU CANNOT take another break right after, even if it's a day off, this might be a stretch tho. Edit: Also i think getting better right after a break has to do ALOT with mindset
IMO this is probably due to the fact that most things in life are predominantly made for right hand use, which leads to a lot of left handed people becoming ambidextrous. This would explain why they can be both extremely comfortable with aiming and tapping at the same time. There are stories about left handed people being forced to use their right hand all the time as being right handed is much more common.
Not to mention he is only 14, he started playing when he was 9. Younger people learning things learn them easier and faster, so no wonder he improves fast
i belive i started playing osu! when i was 9-10 too, i never played seriously but i took long breaks and such which hindered my performance and rank. currently 170k and im 14 rn.
I started playing Osu! when I was 11 and even after 1300 hours of playing i'm rank 2k so i don't really think age really plays a role of improvement so just enjoy the game :)
I like how in the end he just made the claim, that Whitecar will have to try to farm real soon because Mrekk will get a 1200pp in 2 months, like it's a deadline
What no? Age doesn't have as big of a factor as you think it does. And besides everyone is different, in some people's cases they improve faster at things when they're older. It may have been the case for you when youbwere younger that you improved quite quickly at something and now as you're getting older, this improvement is slowing down, but doesn't mean it's the standard for all things. Mrekk is just naturally a fast improver regardless of age, just as I am a terrible improver, regardless of my age. Everyone's improvement rate depends on the person itself, age doesn't have a bug factor in it
@@tronix2125 it's physiologic tho, people who improves faster at an older age are only an exception, and you're certainly an exception too. The body is made to improve fast at a young age, age isn't even a factor of improving, it's a cause. And that's due to the brain that is still building and growing til the age of 20, which allows new skills to be deeply imprinted in one's mind before that age. That's just a fact, cope with it.
@@nenrikido2903 wait wait wait, what is supposed to be considered young then? I thought it was people 14 and under?? Also, I'm surprised I didn't know that, but I guess it makes sense, reall straightforward when you think about it
@@tronix2125 The brain is physically formed at 90% at the age of 5 and 100% at the age of 8~10, that's maybe what you're referring to ? But it's only starting with the age of 8 that the consciousness, reason and memory (all kinds of memory) starts to really build up (being only sparse before) and all those synapses forms until 20~25 years old before gradually dying until the body's death. So yeah, you've got an experience buff all the way until the end of ur teen years in the video game that is life basically
I hate to be that guy but while he is improving quickly, he's only really moving up in the field of jump maps and that's it. He has horrible accuracy (91% profile acc) and unless he works on any other skills than just barely FCing things, he will never be great
Well it's simple. Some people learn fast and some learn slow. Fast learners usually with less effort gets their prize and slow learners with a lot of effort get their prize but I can confirm one thing when you put a lot of effort, after achieving that the feel of happiness you get is undescribable.
feelsbadman, i had my first 300 around 2 weeks ago now with close to 200 hours (on mania tho lol). std is too awkward for me xd. 499pp top play tho is good, ur not bad at all!
@@leaku6493 yeah it's really heartbreaking, that 499pp was nearly a year ago and i still haven't beaten it, I've got plenty of S ranks, 1xmiss and acc chokes of 500pp.
Some people are saying that just because he was young he is was getting better fast. While that is a part of it, sometimes it also natural talent. And the dude said he played less than 1000hrs which is not even a month worth of playing. So which means that he was improving at rate that is not even possible for people
To be honest, this made me really think about where I'm at in the game. I'm at (time of writing): #18,442 with only 201h of playtime and 13k playcount. I even inflated my playcount by 2k by just going through my "needs S rank" list. My top play is a 339pp score. People say I'm a bit suspicious, and looking at Mrekk's profile...I can kind of see why. I thought I was trash at the game...but I guess I'm good?
"Never compare yourself to others, but to your past self if you cant see improvment from your past self you can never improve more." -idk who i was browsing some history book of smart ppl
@@renaiky2652 This is a good wisdom. You don't gotta be super young to become the best, just be dedicated and train smartly. Always trying to improve your own scores not beat others.
the whole osu community when people improve fast, dirty cheater get lost. but in reality they are just really jealous cuz they aint improve as fast, and it dont really matter how fast you improve anyways. take your time you will get there and achive your goals if you have the dedication
To be honest, he is not. Remember that we are in the modern era of osu! So pretty much anyone with gaming experience or anyone with pro tag in his other games can easily climb that fast, this guy confirmed it.
hey dude, love the videos. just a quick tip: you should really remove the backround noise from your voiceovers. it's pretty easy to do if you record your voiceovers with a program like Audacity and there are a lot of youtube tutorials out there for it. thanks for the awesome content!
Namazu [GD] Why would anyone play offline at that skill level, because you need to have a certain amount of dedication to get that good and with no audience or no ranking and score there wouldn't be any point
On December 22 I discovered a talented player.. he just started in November and now a 5 digits with 17, 200pp play and top play on 280pp. This January 23, 2023
@obwajakeskidadi!! lol im left handed, and my aim is way better than my tapping, like i used to play on mouse, with right hand, and i swithced to tablet and on day one i could do 6 stars comfortably with relax, only problem is im 1,000,000 rank and my highest pp play is 24. I did say aim was better than tapping(by a fricking LOT) i can now do some 7-8 star jumps comfortable enough, but on relax. So i guess left hand players do get the good aim. Right hand get good streams?(thats just my experience with it)
I think its a mix of his ability to learn very fast paired with an incredible hand eye coordination. Like shroud, only he can learn on top of his talents.
People who take longer breaks tend to get better muchhh quickly idky, when I stopped playing for a month, I was able read across the screen jumps without looking at the center in just 2 days
He will eventually be #1 global if not by overtaking the cat then by when the cat has less playtime because of college since he is older than mrekk quite a bit
he was a kid when he started playing. of course he would be better than anyone. the improvement of a kid is just absurd. in fact, i'm not scared of saying that if mrekk keeps playing he could be better than cookiezi on everything.
