just a quick and easy tutorial to make a background panel from side to side, maybe the next tutorial will be on camera control. Hope this helps. This method can also be used to move characters or items, be creative with it!
Soooo, I already have 2 layers (set up like you have) but I'm already pretty far into my animation, and what I'm trying to do is to get the background to move at the same time as my character is walking away, BUT, when I move the background it moves it for the WHOLE animation, not just for the frames I want it to. I might be doing something wrong but any advice?
lol it was a brush i downloaded years ago called "Less dry" but honestly it wasn't anything too special, you can get the same result from using any of the brushes clip studio comes with.
I'm trying to transform the background, not only move it around or zoom on it. I want to actually change its shape (like you can do with the transformation tool), but the object tool only allows me to move/zoom. Am I doing something wrong, or is what I want to do impossible ? :(
Ohh wait, I think i know what you mean, yeah that can be done easily, just make a keyframe, then use the transform tool and transform the object, then create a new keyframe, dont have to use object tool
@@DimiArt Unfortunately I tried and it didn't work D: because once I selected what I wanted to transform, I couldn't click on the "transform" button. Also tried it via the menus, but they weren't clickable. Once you enable keyframes on an animation folder, you can't transform anymore it seems (I'm probably doing something wrong). Also sorry the demand wasn't the clearest, wasn't easy to explain ^^'
@@Edahel it can be done, i'll make a tutorial on it, i was actually wrong about using the lasso tool, but there is another method that works in the same way.
It is possible to use this method to create a background parallax as well? I'm trying to make my character run at the centre of the screen and having the background and foreground move pass him.
@@cristal7412 why not? What I do is make a new canvas thats much much longer than the animation, do my background on the super long canvas, then right click the layer and copy it and paste it into my animation, that way you can have it looping for as long as you need it to
