I followed your steps but still failed to achieve the zooming in and zooming out motion. When I applied Key frames, all my drawings were misaligned and I had to start from the beginning . I tried following your steps on a set of 3 frames...as I still wanted to show some movement while zooming in... instead of achieving the effect , frames got corrupted.... I am honestly finding clipstudio and steps required to achieve something so simple as complicated

Great vid, but I have a question, how do you disable those squares that appear after you move the camera? they're kind of distracting wehn you're not working on the folder with the camera
@davidokon
@davidokon Год назад
Thank you. 1. Open Animation menu 2. Uncheck any of the following in the menu options, to solve it a. Show 2D Camera frames b. Show camera path c. Show all field guides

Please answer me , should i put the folder of all the animation i've made or just the folder of the zoom in scene?
@davidokon
@davidokon 6 месяцев назад
Yes, you can put in the animation folder of only the zoom in scene to the camera folder. This is because the Camera only affects the animation folder within its Camera Folder.

Needing to put your animation into the camera folder for the camera to work feels SO clunky and unintuitive But thanks fella!

Is there a tool or keystroke that can put the camera back in the default middle of the canvas? Without needing to delete the previous frames
@davidokon
@davidokon 7 месяцев назад
I don't know the version of Clip Studio paint you are using. But in Version 2.3.0. 1. After selecting the frame you want to reset to default with object tool. 2. Go to the “Tool Property: Object” and check the green diamond on the Transform box, then it will reset. It is 😁 similar to deleting the keyframe from the Timeline whichever works faster for you. Go for it!

@davidokon thanks for all your help so far! This one is a bit unrelated: but can you tell me how to open the export settings menu for PNGs? When I click png export, it immediately sends me to the select file location window.
@davidokon
@davidokon 7 месяцев назад
You are welcome Here are the steps to export in PNGs: 1. Go to -file menu 2. Select -Export (Single Layer) 3. Select - .png (PNG) 4. Then click save 5. The PNG export settings window will pop up... Then you select OK 6. Then you are done

I’ve been having a weird issue with my camera folder. I’m trying to make a short animated scene where the camera is slowly panning and then reveals the character at the last second. But for some reason, when I put key frames in the camera folder, it moves the actual drawing instead, almost like I assigned the key frames to the lineart layer itself instead of the actual camera. Any tips or suggestions to help?
@davidokon
@davidokon Год назад
Hope you dragged the "Animation Folder", where the line art is, into the "2D Camera folder?" If that is not done. The 2D camera will not work. I can see the challenge you are having here. You accidentally keyframed the "Animation Folder layer or line art layer" instead of the 2D Camera Folder. First of all, delete all the keyframes. To delete the keyframes: 1. Hold shift in your keyboard and select all the keyframes you want to delete. Then go to the timeline menu bar and select delete keyframe. 2. Also, it seems you might have selected "enabled keyframes on this layer" please turn it off from the timeline bar. 3. Now, you can drag the Animation folder into the 2D camera folder. Then click on add keyframe, select maybe 80 in the timeline, and adjust the camera on the character. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any assistance.

@@davidokon I’m using CSP on an iPad so it’s slightly different. I also have the animation folder in the 2D camera folder. I’ve animated camera movements on CSP before so I don’t know why this is happening 😭 I couldn’t find the “enable key frames on this layer” option but I’m assuming that’s what’s causing the issue so I’ll try that out.

I need help, I have the camera layer on, but all I'm getting is a blue square with no scale nodes
@davidokon
@davidokon 7 месяцев назад
From the tool by the left. You have to select “object tool” from the tool properties, then the scale nodes will show
@davidokon
@davidokon 7 месяцев назад
The object tool is the third tool in the tool properties. It looks like the combination of cube shape and cursor.

I did the things but for some reason it won't work
@davidokon
@davidokon Год назад
You mean the 2D camera is not working or moving, right? If the 2d camera is not working. Causes: 1. “Render 2D Camera” is not turned on. To turn it on- Go to Animation menu>Playback settings>Render 2D camera 2. The image or animation folder is not placed inside the camera folder. To do that click and drag the image into the Camera Folder If it is not solved. You can send me the CSP file via my email to see what is wrong edikanart@gmail.com
