I cut the reminiscence about Atlantis off in this excerpt, but he remembered it and regretted that he ran away, and that gave him strength to continue fighting Constantine.
@@mrcoolguyxd8298 It was said that everyone from the round table roster is a league beyond your average servant (probably except Gareth), so most likely not.
I like how with each Lostbelt and lore event we are getting more and more cinematic pieces. These are really well done, and I hope we will have even more of them in the future ☺️
Don Quixote's situation reminds me of benkei but somehow more moving to me. or at least I think so since the last time I've seen Babylonia was when the anime was released. Both were terrified by what was in front of them and thought it was too much for them to handle so they ran away. But the guilt and shame from doing so was enough to give them the courage to stay and fight. Maybe it feels a lot more moving to me than benkei's character arc is because Don Quixote was just a delusional old man who thought he was a knight. So him running away after seeing Hercules get one shot by Artemis is understandable. But seeing him redeem himself by standing his ground here just makes him the knight he always wanted to be. Even Charlemagne saying he was like a true knight in that moment adds to it. It makes me appreciate him a lot. As they say, ya boi a Chad. Can't wait to summon him even though I play on NA and I have to wait two years.
"Benkei" is fake. He is actually Hitachibou Kaison who ran away from Ushiwakamaru in the final battle. His regret encouraged him to spread the story of real Benkei to others for the rest of his life. And now he is summoned with the concept of Benkei.
@_サキュバス_ pretender is some one who is pretending to be someone else kaison only spread the story of benkei he did not try to pretend to be benkei or anything
Yeah, this is just how I see it. But Constantine in terms of powerscaling wise is above Lancer Leonidas but still below Nero and Romulus, while Charlemagne is comparable to Richard III from Strange Fake.
@@knightofthelake8112 Charlie literally nukes you with 12 Noble Phantasms because he throws his Paladins' NPs at you and then sometimes hammerstrikes your ass with HIS at the end. You're being hit with 12-13 consecutive NPs, thata trumps anything Richard has done so far. Well, minus nerfed Excalibur spam, I guess
Starting from the Goetia/Solomon throwdown, I'd say they're getting better at those little battle animations. The firings of Black Barrel come to mind. Cool
Don proving hes worthy of the best boi title and being saved by the bestest of bois in the fate franchise to date is just beautiful symbolism at its finest.
Translation of the dialogue excluding voice lines, using Google Lens. I am not an expert in Japanese by any means and the actual meaning might differ from what I write here. 0:01 Don Quixote "Guah! Guh... Well, I still have more... Let's go!" ~cutscene~ ~already translated dialogue~ 2:35 "----Even though it was in the mid of night, it seemed as if it were noon. The brilliance of the divine light dazzled the 1500 Servants in it's surroundings." ? ? ? "----You're cool." ~cutscene of Charlemagne revealing himself~ 3:19 ? ? ? "Confront reality without running away from it! That's the coolest way to be a knight and a human being. Well, it would be nice to call yourself Charlemagne. I forgive! I forgive you. Who wouldn't!" Constantine XI "State your name!" ? ? ? "My name is Charlemagne!" Charlemagne "Or Karl der Große, father of Europe!" Constantine XI "What?!" Charlemagne "It's the real deal. That's why, Don Quixote! Brave man, no less than my heroes! Your strenuous fight is surely carved in this chest! Therefore, I order you! Leave this place and protect the princess!" Don Quixote "I refuse!" Charlemagne "............Eh?" Don Quixote "I, I mean! Are you truly Charlemagne, and are you an ally...? We must find out! Sancho, retire from the field!" Sancho "I'll stay, or I'll start crying." Don Quixote "Oh, okay." Charlemagne "Ahahahahahaha! A good knight, a good princess and a good squire! Then behold! My Noble Phantasm, my holy sword, my brilliance!" Constantine XI "A Noble Phantasm!" Charlemagne "Witness, Constantinos! The brilliance of my divine blade!" ~cutscene, end of video~
Don ordered Sancho to run away while he stayed behind to ascertain that Charle is the real Karl the Great, but she refused and said she'll cry if he forced her to leave.
Now that NA has got him I can’t wait for Don Quixote to release but I must say him standing his ground here is very admirable and seeing Charlie come out for the save is COOL
@@fakedimas2627 I don't want the girl to be sancho damnit I really hope she is rocinante, so Id better wait until the servant is summons so we can have all the info needed
To those who never played Fate/EXTELLA Link, Charlemagne is actually far more competent than what most characters ever admit and his performance in showing Constantine here in F/GO, is a display of how strong the real Karl would be if he were around at probably 'minimal' level. Charlie brute forced Constantine into defeat during their NP 'battle'. In EXTELLA Link, Charlie was inferior because the actual historical Karl was already manifested and had much more influence in history than Charlie's fantasy legends. Here, Karl let Charlie take his place and the latter's only handicap is his strictly limited time he has to remain manifested. In EXTELLA Link, if Charlie were to engage Gilgamesh, Iskandar or Artoria in battle, all three have lines showing how much they respect him for his leadership and/or strength and skill. Gilgamesh: Comments and commends Charlie for being a virtuous king with stellar leadership and humility but tells the young king to remember to keep his pride intact. Iskandar: Acknowledges that Charlie reminds him of his younger days and praises his strong beliefs and combat strength while warning Charlie that he's still a bit immature and naive. Artoria: At first she's happy to have a normal duel against him before realizing just who he really is and what he's capable of and tells him that she's not holding back at all in their battle. Also, Charlie was able to hold his own ground against Karna twice in EXTELLA Link, even though he had Arjuna's assistance the second time. He survived both times and the second time, Karna was going all-out.
@@eclipsewaves the important ones did that’s all that matters…..like seriously you want septem animated? Im good homie spend that budget on something else lol
Well, to be fair, the walls of Constantinople in 1453 were still some of the greatest defenses in their time. The cannons the Ottomans brought simply heralded a new era in siege warfare.
This singularity is exactly how the name implies: Life and Death of Fantasy. It bring the fantasy that shouldn't exist, namely his kingdom never fall, so Constantine want to make sure the singularity keep going. He also fell in love with Pope Joanna (who was erased from history because people refuse a female pope), so he wanted to make her famous again in order for her to be recorded in Throne of Heroes.
An ordinary police with tuberculosis is a 5-star servant while the invincible dragonslayer saint is a 2-star servant, stars don't reflect character strength.
HUGE SPOILERS FOR TRAUM This singularity was created when Specimen E (the alien that was being tortured in area 51) made a contract with Zhang Jue to create a singularity that is based in China’s romance of 3 kingdoms but European style. Basically the majority of servants summoned in the singularity becomes an enemy of Pan human history because of subject E.
@@hashimalz Everything except Constantine is at least good enough. As for Constantine his role is extremely weird to say the least (if you don't want to get into spoilers
