crazy for you to have 233 video with such lower sub counts, and all of the content was decent, keep it coming, I'm sure you'll hit the ideal sub count some day.

don't forget that dead dps does ZERO dps. make sure you have a good amount of hp and utility to survive the harder fights later on in the game when going for your first time clears.

First time in my life I see Benford’s law come in play when I see those damage nunbers frequently ending with 998.

There are a lot people who don't understand this and how DMG Cap works. A large community of people think that there are different factors that will (they won't) raise the ceiling to your damage cap. (Non-Terminus weapons, raw attack from sigils like Tyranny, and critical strike dmg) I see SOOOOOOO many people pile on Tyranny and Life on the Line for the extra ATK/DMG that, despite their delusions, aren't actually getting because they had long already reached their cap. For some reason, players also think different weapons have their own DMG Cap ceilings as well. They don't. I think this confusion stems from the fact that Terminus weapons have Catastrophe and people just don't notice what it does. People think it's the Terminus weapon giving them the extra damage - when in reality it's the Catastrophe sigil. A fully upgraded Terminus weapon does the same amount of damage as a fully upgraded Ascension weapon if it never had the Catastrophe sigil. Why? Because those weapons are already dealing enough damage to easily reach your limit. Catastrophe is the ONLY reason why anyone should want a Terminus weapon.

Thankyou for the information! but I have question about Io, for some reason I liked her gameplay and bit investing into her (Still didnt complete the main quest so I dont think im making big decisions) but in your vid im looking at 1m crits with 4th charge of the best spell she got, while I see other people with other sword type chars (like the 2 hand sword guy) that are hitting for 800k+ each hit like dps wise are miles and miles ahead of Io is Io a non dps at higher levels?

Apparently a way to tell if you're hitting damage cap is that your numbers will flash yellow. Did some testing on my Zeta, and this seems to be true!

The lv 110 Angra Mainyu drops Damage Cap IV+ and V for those who need more sigils to get past Versa

i feel like having 1 damage cap V should be enough instead of multiple damage cap, it kinda takes the fun for character building when half the slot is probably damage cap, but i guess this is their way to balance the damage out so people won't go for full crit damage

Yea me and my friends figured that out real quick, 4 dmg cap 5s is a must have on all characters. Glass cannon+2 dizzy 5s is a good addition. Will take note of war elemental though. Edit: Dizzy resist lv30 and stout heart do not prevent glass cannon's stun. Edit 2: With 1st ascension weapon and all sigils maxed, 3 dmg cap 5s and 1 dmg cap 4 reaches cap.

I didn't realize the game had a Seraphic Mod sigil.

It has been almost 200 hours and i still didnt get any Critical Hit V+ with damage cap trait, which one should i spam Managarmr nihilla ??

Can a character triggers critical hit when hitting an off-element enemies? For example, Cagliostro (Earth) can trigger critical damage when attacking water monsters but can she also trigger critical when attacking wind element enemies? Or any other elements

I hate the damage cap system, took me until the proud rank up mission to find out that I could've over tripled my damage

And don't forget charging speed sigils for characters that almost exclusively use charge attacks like Io, faster attacks is also more damage, just not per hit.

So do double check for clarity; Regular hit damage cap, and critical hit damage cap, are *not* two different numbers? Given the premise that each attack has it's own cap number (which is not what I initially assumed), I would guess that a crit hit and a not-crit hit would be considered two "different" attacks that therefor have different caps. Meaning that stacking raw might allow a swing of my sword to do, say 1000 dmg but get capped there, while adding crit would then allow the same swing to do X2 for 2000 because a crit is different. Is it actually the case that the cap for that swing is 1000 period, regardless of whether that's 1000 as raw or a 500 X2 from critting?

what are good sigil for charlotta i tried to video but didn't find any good video.

So does Siegfried's Draconic Release skill become functionally useless in the endgame due to how damage cap works? Hitting the cap by one or two fewer attacks in the combo string is not worth an entire skill slot.

What I want to know is what is the actual damage amount you need to be at cap 😂, and how to reach it without going over. Gonna have to take out this Krabby sigil soon

The problem I have with damage cap in this game is it comes into play wayy to early. Its not really a "damage cap" as more for a "damage limiter". Despite my displayed power, my character is effectively 3-4x less effective cause I haven't gotten lucky enough to get the sigils required to actually do more damage despite me not even being at the true endgame yet... Its quite annoying.

I feel like my damage didn't increase very much with War Elemental, need to test with it on and off on the target dummy. I am at level 63 damage cap if that matters.

question: does the weak point dmg+ sigil work with war elemental? idk what the game refers to as weak point...and just got a dmg cap+ weak point dmg combination....wondering if thats better than pure atk increase
