Thanks for this video! I will make sure to watch your other ones, too! I plan a 3 week Japan Vacation for May '25 and will visit Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto! (But before I must plan everything out and study more japanese. Im around N5 Level now.)

Enjoyed your video very much. My wife and I were there 3 times last year. We completely avoided the crowd by staying and hanging out north of Sanjo/Gion area. It was the best way to enjoy the real Kyoto. (Been to that Starbucks that didn't let people take pictures and surprised that Ninenzaka would let SB open a branch there.)
