2:21 this line reminded me of Karna's dialogue before his death in Fate/Apochrypa. "We are no more than shadows from the past. You people living in the future, no matter the heroic spirit. You're all treasures." Really, this is why dude is my favorite among all servants.
"We are Heroic Spirits! Shadows of humans who once existed, engraved into human history. Our reward for the restoration of humanity will be our continued history. That's right, a child who admired Ushiwakamaru, existed a thousand years in the future. That fact alone allows me to fight! It makes it all the worth risking this temporary life for!"
"Why do you fight so hard to protect Humanity, Heroic Spirits?!" If this doesn't highlight Goetia's ignorance about this whole battle, then nothing does. They aren't fighting for Humanity, they're fighting for the sake of the one human who forged a connection with them.
Also, they are HUMANITY's heroes for a reason. From the Avenger, to the Berserker and beyond, they have witnessed the worst of humans and their deeds survived the test of time. In return, they're rewarded with immortality in name. If that alone wasn't compelling enough for them to return the favour once more, than what else would?
They are also fighting for the humanity and the history forged by their own hands. They are fighting selflessly and for themselves at the same time. For heroic spirits, nothing sadder than seeing their tales and their wills forgotten. Even if their stories are tragic, the fact they are still being told proves their existences. Goetia is also unable to see humans as individuals.
it makes me laugh how Fujimaru has to be roided up by magic and mystic codes just to not ODing on magic-energy, still defeats an absolute demon like Goetia. FGO made "you're such an average guy" a bloody compliment, and i love it! Half of FGO is just characters saying that MC is average and easily replaceable, and the other half of FGO is just an MC (with an attitude) proving to be average but enough to defeat everyone. MC represents the 99%, not the heroes, not the geniuses or the big names in human history, but all those people who are mediocre at best, but still want to live, still strive to success. it's like 500 Hulks vs 1 unhinged and mentally exhausted Hawkeye, and see hawkeye defeat all those Hulks.
@@iamthestormthatisapproaching69 The amount of trauma Ritsuka would have after the Lostbelts is not even close to the singularities. He now has the blood of millions on his hands, and nothing he does will ever change that.
2:01 this form and this suit was the most hardest shit we have seen and we never got through suit that fuck why, I get the movie came out after this whole thing was done but they couldn't have just given to us as an anniversary gift or something
@@scandal3107 i know, I just like pointing out that their duo shares this naming quirk. We all know them as the umu emperor and the tomboy knight anyway, and praise them as such.
I like to think at goetia is doing his big giant nuke of a np that can wipe out all of humanity and then the dude just summons castoria and uses her np
By that he meant that Servants can't surpass him because they are summoned beings, and as the original summoning spell nothing summoned can surpass Goetia. So yeah, "Living Servants" and other beings beyond the scale of a Servant could stand before him if they aren't summoned. Basically any Lostbelt King and some of the Crypters
I remember in the game, all servants that were summoned used their respective noble phantasms . . . Which is missing in the movie... The servant banters too.
Y'know whats funny, in the actual game, because of how it works, they just had him 1v1 the beast as the world was ending, like a straight brawl and he won
