No one asked for this but I can’t help myself but Lyrics and why this song fits Wei WuXian: I am on fire (The problems he’s going through) A crying burning liar (this one means that he didn’t fulfill his promise of being by Jiang Chengs side) Seeing nothing, nothing but myself (Despite having companions, he’s alone in the world due to the cultivation worlds harsh treatment to wwx) And I’m the one with the lighter (He chose to defend the Wens and due to that choice. He suffers consequences of the cultivation world thinking he’s the “bad one”) Every inch of me is charred (Possibly referring to the golden core he lost) God what happened to my heart (he’s becoming broken once again) I’m about to fall apart again, again (This obviously goes back to the fall of lotus pier and how he lost his parents) And you’re never coming back (Referring to Jiang Cheng and his defect) And I’m not okay with that (Self explanatory) And I should’ve never let myself get attached (Wei WuXian either meant about how he became friends with Wen Ning and Wen Qing, or how he shouldn’t have befriended Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli)

I don't think he get affected by the seal, I believe he stayed that way because of the series of tragedies that happened to him and because of the people, Little by little he lost the people he loved, and was betrayed by the others, even though he was not a bad person he was judged as a cruel and evil person, Nobody understood him or was on his side supporting his decisions and enduring "guilt" together with he, he faced it all alone, and saw people being hurt by his powers (and it wasn't even his fault but he thought it was) He was alone and with the world against him, trying to be a just person and defend his ideals and nobody understood him. I think it was too much for him to endure Anyone would be like that without needing the influence of the seal 😢 My baby suffered so much😭💔
