@@FlawlessMH I'm REALLY enjoying the weapon so far, totally different from the SA that I picked up in base MHW! With 3,000 hours logged and the Platinum achievement for both World + Iceborne I'm FINALLY learning my 4th weapon 😄 Oh random question BTW, are you playing on PC with a controller or do you play on Xbox? Mainly wondering because I'm on a One X (with an SSD) and with the game set to prioritize the framerate I feel like I'm incapable of performing some of the combos you pull off: BUT that could just be me not being used to the input delay between the various attacks/animations. No matter where you're playing I hope you keep up the great work! P.s If you do play on Xbox & occasionally hunt in groups look me up; SquadK . If you're not on there or you prefer solo, that's fine too! I'm just always looking to add people who really know this game. It can be fun helping MR 25 players beat their first Alatreon or MR Kulve; but hunting with 3 other players who know what they're doing is always the most fun (MR/HR999 generally means you're in for a good time lol) Although... I will admit it can turn into chaos when one player thinks it would be funny to lure something like a Savage Jho into the fight without anyone noticing until it's too late 🤣 Sorry for the long comment, it's a bad habit of mine. But I appreciate your patience if you actually took the time to read my ramblings, otherwise I get it: walls of text aren't exactly interesting to read haha

P.P.S! Just to be clear: I suggested you add me if you're on Xbox so we both have another person on our list of friends who can join a hunt & hold their own. I'm actively avoiding my current online friends until I manage this first damn solo Fatalis kill 😁 I don't wanna give the impression that I'm trying to lowkey find someone to carry me through this. If I was giving up and looking for a carry I'd asked directly. But that's never going to happen especially after my time trying to help randoms beat Alatreon, half of them weren't even upgrading their armor or making item loadouts/gear sets! It blew my mind 🤯 what's the point of winning if you're not putting in the work?! So yeah, just clarifying my intentions to be safe haha

@@Secret_Takodachi @cee kay dont worry about the long comments dude, I appreciate the time and effort, unfortunately I'm PC only, the default controls are just displayed as Xbox on PC even if you use a PS4 controller (which I am). Learning and timing SA hops + getting used to the movement and knowing the skill priority actually takes a lot of practice so you'll be fine with more hunts I guess, you sound like you know what you're doing anyway haha

Thanks for this. I had 4 piece Fatalis armor from plundering alone, but needed kills/eyes (I tried the Frostcraft GS way, but totally not my style, couldn't get that to work). Your way helped me get the kill on both the Special mission and Event quest (3 man after the 4th disconnected, whew!)

The sword has to be fully amped (charged) first, then clutch + Triangle + circle to begin ZSD, spam Triangle to continue

You lose about 30% damage on the final explosion (not to mention the lost ticks) everytime you cancel zsd early, so it's better to take the risk that you get hit on landing or you lose too much damage overall. Of course if you know you'll get hit feel free to cancel early

there's only 1 conflicting file, 001, just use the one which you prefer, in this case I chose the layered phial one

The layered armour is modded, links in the description. The actual armour is shown at the very end of the video

The outfit is a combination of several mods. Those are linked in the description, otherwise the pendant is the one you get after beating Fatalis for the first time, remember to speak to the commander in Astera

if you want you can use the alatreon arms alpha + waist alpha for power prolonger 3 and attack boost 7 and use lunastra for the other 3 parts for tool specialist 5, you will be giving up divine blessing 5 though which i wouldnt recommend for comfort / ease of hunt

Congrats man! If you have health augment, you will always heal from that, it might be that you didn't notice it happening or it was interrupted by Fatalis's attack

I don't heal off the zsd explosion either...

ideally a safi dragon/para axe or lightbreak, you'll get the eyes soon for sure because of zsd easy headbreak

I used Lightbreak to get my eyes, so now I have the Fatalis one as well. :)

dont worry, the fight is pretty punishing, and there's a lot of divine blessing rng and some rng for his moves too to have easy clears

Power phial always. It gives 17% boost to raw and ZSD is heavily raw skewed in terms of damage especially the final explosion, for non-ZSD it will depend on the monster's hitzones
