Oh yeah taizo was def one of my favorite underrated characters in overdress so to see him be in a main character role makes me Happy hope Divinerz is better than these last couple seasons of overdress

Like I just don't see why you would make and MC in the same universe where the only visual difference is a single strand of hair. Especially when other characters seemingly haven't aged.

how does that make any sense, Akina hair color is a darker blue, he seems taller than Yuyu and his eyes are red. Yuyu hair color is a blue more light than Akina, his eyes are blueish purple and he is shorter as well. Also different voice actors and Akina has a sister has seen in this trailer

I think it's the hair color and the shirt color. Although Yuyu first outfit was green not red, so Akina might get other outfit later on and Akina hair while it's also blue it's a darker blue than Yuyu. He also has red eyes, while Yuyu eyes were purplish blue

dude the VA is a famous singer from a band with a name I won't say cuz it's a weird name. He is also a Vanguard fan and plays Vanguard in his free times. So far you're the only person I've seen complaining about his voice

@@symphonixblades in voice acting world, there are many aspects that can get someone the role besides how good their voice are. And Akina's VA, is just fine in voice acting, he could fit well being supporting character that won't show up much. I didn't say he's bad, he's not fit to be the MC's voice. Another example of what happened in VG, is two person from the group Strawberry Prince who sung the OP, they came out of nowhere in s2 Urara fangirling eps. The feminime voice boy is suprisingly really good, and the other is just fine(The new MC is the same level as that fine imo) Another case in VG past: Daigo. His songs are really good, but do you really think his voice were meant to act an anime character? For Shadowverse Flame, the group that sung the latest ED has members being cameo of randos idols on street right in eps one of the new ED being used, and the quality of their voice acting is just terrible. Their song is good tho it didn't match the show. That's why, I just felt this is just another "tie-up" connection thing bushi did for promotional and not quality. Anyway, search on YT "Tenryu Light Game Voice" shadowverse 30 seconds CM, that's who I think can do great job voicing Akina.

the first series is my least favourite one, and Dress series have been my favourite. I guess it just depends on what you're into. Also didn't people asked for more supernatural stuff, here you have it that's DivineZ exactly what you all asked for

its hard to beat the og Divinez and Overdress look pretty generic when compared to the first couple series

Aichi personally for me was kind of a weak protagonist, personality wise. I think most people are just still clinging to nostalgia

@@philliprosewood7049 it's probably because Vanguard is a much more popular anime and card game. And just has a much bigger fanbase overall. Nobody I knew ever played buddyfight because it sucked that much

@@StrategicLemon yeah I can see that it just I only watched the anime seen all the seasons. And I was upset bc when we finally got out of Gaos story after 4 seasons I hated gao except in season 3 which was my favorite season of buddyfight. Shame that buddyfight ace was the last season we got and people myself included really liked ace but I knew the show had actual production issues as opposed to the other seasons. Bc of the recycled animations during fights and slightly lack of some movements but it still hurts that the show is fine lear I got yugioh, shadow verse and vanguard for my cardgame anime trfecta still.

Not only that the cardgame and anime for buddyfight was already cancelled because the one who created buddyfight was yoshimasa ikeda and without him the game was now dead their anime and cardgame as well, because yoshimasa ikeda was going to resign his work from bushiroad company and he decides to make a TCG games called gate ruler trading card game which is not belong to bushiroad

WillDress has a fight nearly every episode but they’re not displayed the same way as the previous series’ typically. I’d watch the season finale of WillDress S2 and all of the fights of S3 tho

0 fights 😂, wtf dude Will + Dress was mostly fights Also Classic Vanguard is just a copy of Yugioh, the low budget fights you liked from it are copied from Yugioh and every Anime does that nowadays that it gets boring to see another Anime do that. At least the Dress series had creativity which was what was lacking in the old series

@@josiahnoble1693 That's the problem. The show is well known for its fights. What's the point of the card game if you're not gonna show the fights? Instead, its all 100% slice of life, visual novel, fanfic BS and not about the cardfights nor the fights despite it names as one. Whats the point of the tcg anime if you're not gonna show/tell us the card effect and what the unit does?

Will+dress has more focus on fights the only issue is they only animate stuff like riding new cards, some skills activating and the finishing attack. As cool as the animations are, most of the fights is really just placing cards on a table

@@symphonixblades Are you high rn? Vanguard is NOTHING like Yugioh. They aren't even similar, both aesthetically and conceptually. Its at least better than what Yugioh is whatever they are doing after 5Ds. Plus, its the top 10 highest grossing TCG. At least the fights were better than Zexal, Arc V, and Rush Duel + Sevens combined. Also, this is an "action fantasy" show. What do you expect? Also, explain what "creativity" that WillDress has what the classics lacked? Because I DOUBT that you watched the classics nor the reboot.
