The First vocaloid work I made, also a work made for my creature design website: birdsofneuroid.com
Lyrics:
Confirm it with these confused eyes.
Place your hope in the beam of the light.
crystalline lens are gift from the merciful God of the world.
To save people from the chaos of this dim unseen world.
Remember to never trust the invisible.
“Nothing to worry”
God used to tell me
Within kindness
So I believe it
“Nothing to worry”
Reality exists
As it always be
So I believe it
“Nothing to worry”
Danger observed
Far behind me
So I believe it
“Nothing to worry”
Unseeable dread
Crawling to me
I feel it
(It appears in the cracks of the world)
(Where words can't cover)
(But the feeling it brings is so familiar)
(Could it be that it's been with me for a long time?)
(It has a shape, but it's out of reach.)
(It's there, occupying everything we"witnesses".)
(The shadow cast by its huge body is so vast that we, who are in it...)
(Even not realise that it's always watching us.)
Concept of god is born in the mind
Its body has rotted at the night
empty shells are worshipped by all
No one cares about the cracks inside
Individuals are interacting
Weaving illusions make up the everyday life
Invisible Leviathans are roaming
Block out the starlight from the deep sky
Reality or fantasy? drop of water or the sea?
Wrapped in the words, we are born in a trap
Chasing one monster after another
Reaching out to the tower of the Babel
Folded spirals, eggs of the setting sun
Waves in abdomen, Silver Silence
flowing morning, Metal Revelation
Scarlet Cut, Contour Courtyard
Embryonic dreams, silent cubes
Cochlear reborn, Geometric samsara
Correlative motion, circling upwards
red blue charges, birds of neuroid
When all turns to the silent, It arrives
Casting a shadow that will surround you aside

I always think that something like nature like/goblincore, cottagecore, etc.(Since he was inspired by nurture) , Is the only thing that suit po-uta so well, but seeing your visualization with this MV, kindly making me surprised, that is actually genius to put po-uta and his robotic sound to a somekind webcore aesthetic MV that actually fit him perfectly !! And thx for this cool music ^A^!!

This is absolutely enchanting, I was captured from beginning to end. I love the slow visuals combined with this evolving eerie sense of dread, and that part where everything pauses was so well done. Incredible work here :)

Holl shit. Ok this is some real shit. Admittedly, I haven't gotten past Genesis, so this interpertation of the song might be wrong, but I love religious imagery so. I am also not good at interperting shit but whatever. Here we go. I think this song could either very literally be about actual God, or be using the religious motifs as metaphors. First, the title. "Invisible leviathans". Leviathan is considered the embodiement of chaos, and as a sea serpent who eats the damned. He is also considered the demon of greed. I think this line speaks of unknowable danger. Since it is chaotic, it may appear anytime, and it is unpredictable. However, if we interpert it more literally, it could be speaking about actual invisble Leviathans. Actual forces of chaos, death and greed that nobody is capable of seeing. The opening lines: "Everytime I pass a high voltage power line hanging down by the side of the road, I feel that I am very close to death." "In fact, don't you think this is when it's the farthest instead? Because you see it." This is shown on a blue screen. Actually, technology seems to be a light motif in this, appearing at the start and the end. I think this ties in with the "invisible, unpredictable danger" thing. It's farthest here, because you know that the danger is there and can thus avoid it. If you didn't see the power line, you'd be way likelier to get injured by it. Also, cables vaguely resemble snakes. Leviathan was a sea serpent. "Confirm it with those confused eyes, place your hope in the beam of light." This could refer to becoming aware of danger that was before invisible. The beam of light is pretty obviously meant to be God. People often turn to God with problems they don't know how to solve with prayers. By praying that they stay out of danger, people are quite literally placing their hope in the beam of light. "Crystalline lens are gift from merciful the God of the world. To save people from the chaos of the dim unseen world. Remember to never trust the invisible." The crystalline lens is the elliptical structure located behind the iris that helps to focus light entering the eye onto the retina. This line is meant to say that our ability to see the light is a gift fron God. In the Abrahamic creation myth, the world was dark until God said "Let there be light". This world would be dim. I've seen interpertations online say that the old Hebrew word that is often translated as God "creating" the world actually is closer to "organised" the world, meaning He didn't necessarily create it. Before He organised it, the world would be chaotic. Thus meaning the world would be chaotic and dim before God. I'm not sure about the unseen part. It might be trying to imply that the world is still this way, but God's light protects people from it. Or that He is at least trying to save people from it. The last line could be a general warning against the "invisible leviathans", who are the personification if this dim, chaotic world. It could also be a way of pointing out the irony of us trusting God, who is invisible, despite this warning. Maybe God isn't what He appears to be? "Nothing to worry, God used to tell me within kidness so I believe it" This is interesting. Has God directly spoken to the protagonist? Or is this more meant to be just a generalisation of what God would say? As in, the protagonist was told growing up "Don't worry about it, God will take care of it". Whatever the case, these words were said with what is allegedly kind intent, so the protagonist believed them. "Nothing to worry, reality exists, as it always be so I believe it" This might be a reference to the "split" of the pre-God and post-God world. The protagonist believes that the world has always existed the way it has, again, either due to God Himself or from other people telling them so. "Nothing to worry, danger observed far behind me so I believe it" This danger is observable, so the protagonist believes it. Interestingly enough, it comes from far behind them, perhaps implying that this danger is invisible, but the protagonist is aware of it regardless. "Nothing to worry unseeable dread crawling to me I feel it" Ok, so the danger IS invisible. Or at least, "unseeable". I think this is a bit vaguer than the rest of the lines. I believe this could either represent the protagonist becoming aware of the invisible leviathans and being targetted by them, or the protagonist becoming afraid of something other people can't see. At this point, the screen seems to glitch out, as if the world was digital and breaking. (It appears in the cracks of the world, where words can't cover. But the feeling it brings is so familiar, could it be it's been with me for a long time?) Very interesting. To be honest, I don't know what the first two lines mean. It could mean that this "thing" exists somewhere outside of the regular world. "Where words can't covee" could either mean that it's physically impossible to speak in this place, or that perhaps this "thing" is impossible to describe? The last two lines are more obvious. If this "thing" is the invisible leviathans, it could have been with the protagonist for a long time by being invisible. (It has a shape, but it's out of reach. It occupies everything we "witness". The shadow that is cast by its huge body is so vast that we, who are in it... Even not realise that it's always been watching us.) Very Very interesting. I believe these lines could either be talking about God, the invisible leviathans, or both. Because what if God IS the invisible leviathans? Before this, God was equated with light. This thing is equated with shadow. Shadow cannot exist without light. Could it be that the leviathans are the result of God existing? The last two lines make me think. What if God's light is actually not light? What if it's shadow? Since it's all that humans have ever known, they'd never realise that God was always the shadow. I don't know though. "Concept of God is born in the mind, it's body has rotted at the night, empty shells are worshipped by all, no on cares about the cracks inside." OHHHH BOY. Okay, maybe. Maybe I was wrong. It seems the protagonist is beggining to loose their faith. "Concept of God is born in the mind" but either be literal, meaning that God comes to life by us believing in Him, or it could be metaphorical, referring to how people often twist God to suit what they want to believe. The next three lines are even more oh boy. Night is equated with darkness. Perhaps God once did exist, but no longer does. He might have been destroyed and replaced by the invisible leviathans without anybody noticing. Even though there might have been evidence that shows "God" is not trustworthy, people choose to ignore it. "Individuals are interacting, weaving illusions make up everyday life. Invisible leviathans are roaming, blocking out the starlight from the deep sky." OHHH BOY!!!!!!! I believe the first two lines refer to people ignoring the invisible leviathans on purpose. They delude themselves by believing they are safe from them, because they pray to God. The invisible levianthans block out the light of God, casting a shadow upon the world. "Reality or fantasy? Drop of water or the sea? Wrapped in the worlds, we are born in a trap, chasing one monster after another, reaching out to the tower of Babel." The protagonist questions their world. Now that they are aware od the true nature of the world, they can't tell what is real and what is false. They don't even know the extent of the truth. Humanity is wrapped in the pre and post-God worlds, born in a trap. In the end, the leviathan will consume them all for their sins. Maybe, after the protagonist finds out the truth, they manage to convince other humans of it. Angered by God's lies, they build a tower to reach Him. Ironically, this brings about their downfall, as they are now seperated by languages and can no longer interact with each other. Perhaps it is this sin that the leviathans kill them for in the end. ...I'll be honest, I don't know what the random words mean. Sorry. "When it all turns silent, it arrives. Casting a shadow that will surround you aside." BOYY... This could refer to a lot of things. When night falls, all turns silent. The night is dark. Darkness is the invisible leviathans, the shadow that they cast. However, I believe it could also symbolize that the invisible leviathans get you when you least expect it. Or that perhaps, when all turns silent, when human society collapses, that's when the leviathans will take their chance to get rid of humanity. Who knows? The end also seems to show a laptop, which is technology.

My two leading theories are: 1.) This is a literal story about God. God, the light, suddenly begins to exist without explanation. He is the light, so the rest of the world is His shadow. His shadow is the invisible leviathans, dark and chaotic. God does not want His creations to live in this world, so he gives them crystalline lens in order to see His light, and to shield them from the invisible leviathans. God is close to the protagonist. It's possible that they are a prophet, similiar to Abraham or Moses. Through this closeness, the protagonist learns of the invisible leviathans, and grows disgusted with God. Eventually, the protagonist wages revolution against God. The angry people try to build a tower to reach Him, but God is afraid, so He casts them down and makes them all speak different languages. However, by doing this, He accidently dooms humanity to fall. Now that people are no longer united, they are weak, and the invisible leviathans get them all. It's possible that in the end, they even kill God. 2.) This is a metaphor for the internet. Think about it. Unseeable dangers. False worlds. I believe God is the good, or idealised version of the internet, and the invisible leviathans are what the internet truly is deep, deep down. Everyone interacts with each other, caught up in what is essentially lies. The protagonist is one of these people. It could be assumed they grew up on the internet. However, they eventually see the internet for what it is: a broken shell. In the end, technllogy consumes humanity, and is what brings about it's end instead. Idk if any of this is like even CLOSE to the song meaning, but this was fun to analyse. Keep going, brother in Christ!! I'd love to see more.

Thank you for the perspective you left for this piece! I've read every word carefully and it really is a great read! They have opened up my mind and given me some very excellent ideas (on top of the original) that I have benefited from, and again, thank you for your willingness to look at this work carefully and leave such informative and excellent comments! I'm sorry I'd obviously like to say more but unfortunately I'm limited in my ability to express myself and can only try to express my gratitude here(wrapped in the words lol)

@@emberfertisbirdIt is my pleasure really. Looking back I feel like I missed a lot of other possibilities honestly but those two comments took me like 30 minutes so I'm not doing all that again. I am glad my attempt at interpreting the song managed to be at least good enough to give you some new ideas :]
