@Reginald Declan thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@@nachi6808 In DMC4SE only Yamato combo A and Beowulf Lunar Phase have extension move, Stinger and Rapid Slash got a stronger version while in DT. In DMC5SE Vergil have move extension move
Yooooooooooo! I swear I said the same thing no lie i can see that happening!Something really story based where Dante first discovers his love for hunting demons and experiences first hand how he can actually use his powers like for instance i can see Dante encountering an ancient Japanese demon or spirit who was notorious for having the ability to “block” literally anything using some form of exclusive dark art technique he created which could inspire Dante to mimic that in a sense creating his “Royal Guard.” I can see this via in game cutscenes and interactive unlockables as you progress thru the story learning/creating 4 different styles of combat. This also works seeing Dante’s intuitive, playful and upbeat nature he’d see the entertainment in each of these discoveries and adopt it as his own. Same thing with Vergil and how his no sense attitude and perfection for everything translated into his fighting style.
Not sure if a lot of people know this but in DMC 4 when you use Combo B with Force Edge, or as it's called Mirage Edge now, you can pull off a Judgement Cut with Yamato at the end of the attack's animation. No idea if it's in DMC 5 though.
Effects aside, I'm pretty sure the Summoned Swords are smaller, possibly not mixed them up with Mirage Edge, which is a stupid excuse for making the Summoned Swords look so weak.
@@shirakani Already did it in previous installments. In fact the original name from "Judgement Cut" is 次元斬 (Dimensional cut) which is way more fitting.
Notice that during Mirage Edge, Vergil turns backward at the start of almost all attacks. Not sure if it is part of the animation or not. (Feels like it is, but looks odd) Watch at 0.25x speed for a clearer view from 6:45
I actually like how thin and condensed it looks. It makes it look like Vergil performed the move perfectly, like none of the energy is lost mid-flight.
Yamato upper slash ground in sin dt has extended move, it will slash down like at the end of yamato combo b in sin dt but without the flip. I could be wrong coz i saw it once on stream and i didn't see he did it again
Will there be any differences between DMC 5 + Vergil DLC for PS4 and DMC 5 SE for PS5? I mean I've seen some modes coming to the SE and wanted to know whether they'll be included in the December DLC. The price for a PS5 at launch is ridiculous, also who knows what kind technical issues it's gonna have like the preceding consoles. So I'll be waiting a bit longer for all of that to get fixed until I'd buy one.
Only Vergil (and I'd assume his campaign) comes to Old Gen and PC. The rest of SE's content, that being LDK, Turbo Mode, and the Raytracing stuff aren't coming to PC (or Old Gen) even though PC can easily handle all of that and then some. Luckily, mods already existed for Turbo Mode, and someone recently made an LDK mod that makes some other changes to the levels.
Its funny how Vergil wield lighter weapons but his moves look heavy and stiff While Dante who like wielding heavy-looking weapons are much smoother and faster
If they decide to make DMC 6, I'd be super awesome if Vergil got a few new weapons to add to his collection. Like maybe a Scythe or perhaps a Hammer-Type of weapon. Or some sort of Double-Edged Spear that can separate and become two huge swords (Similar to Agni/Rudra in a way).
I'm trying to observe how he holds Yamato's sheath. Blade up or down? So far I can see that he flips the sheath blade down when unsheathing..... Isn't it easier to keep holding the sheath blade down instead? I know this is fantasy fiction and all but...I am wondering a bit about that sheath thing.
Upside down it's traditional. Do you ever notice when samurai are depicted, their sheath usually sits with the blade facing up? Repetition of the movement makes it faster, and when drawing the blade at a fast speed I think it's the safer option. It's called Iajutsu if you wanna look into it more.
@@kiddbeatz74 Ahh yes thank you for the info. I did look into it a little bit and based on the clips I saw it does look like it's easier to draw the sword blade up BUT it looks like it's for defensive purposes. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the blade down to attack quickly as you unsheath it? I mean, for Vergil's case here, in his Yamato Combo B, I can see him flipping the sheath blade down before he executes the final attack. He then flips it back blade up after sheathing the sword back in. So I'm wondering, have the sheath down all the time. Kinda saves that extra time flipping the sheath if it's always down. The thing I remember why the samurai do that is so that the sword won't fall off their waist. But Vergil is holding the sheath all the time...I'm sorry I'm looking really far into this. 😆
@@crapsound well the rubbing the blade across is the easier way to sheath it (after the fight of course), other than that it just resets for the next draw. Sheathing with the blade down isn't favorable because of the possibility of stabbing your hand, but I doubt Vergil will do that. He does draw the way you said when he uses judgement cut though. Repetition makes it faster, but the main goal is to draw down on your opponent as fast as possible. Other than that I don't really see the practical application. I've done it before, but I'm not going to act like an expert on it😅. I hope this helps as much as possible.
This is a solid Base but im looking forward to dmcVstrive (pc mod) since there is much room for Improvement in terms of mechanics adjustments, additional voice clips and added/remapped moves
But what would you POSSIBLY need to remap? I can't think of anything in Vergil's kit that have unnecessary inputs that make said moves slow if not outright useless... oh wait, I can. They did Trick Down and Devil Trigger dirty this game.
@@espurrseyes42 Added Aerial Rave for mirage edge mapped to melee and Helm breaker remapped to lock-on + backwards + melee Immediate access to rising Sun via backwards + forward + melee Just two examples out many ways to enchance his kit
@@R4NK4Z Vergil's not really in need of an Aerial Rave, but I guess since it is Vergil, it wouldn't hurt to give him move moves. Kick 13 is occupying the Back to Forward motion, with Lunar Phase taking Forward and Uppercuts taking Back. It's not like her really needs Lunar Phase back as a launcher since Uppercut can launch as can the Back inputs for his remaining weapons. What I'd rather he have back is his 3SE Lunar Phase back as the grounded version.
@@espurrseyes42 more Moves = more Options = more Fun Its not about him being in Need Its about more Moves which provide more stylish gameplay Something like an Aerial rapid slash would be nice to Just more Moves In general, more emphasis on Aerial combat And kick 13 could go back to melee+trick or rising Sun could go there Either way, immediate access should be given
@@R4NK4Z Pretty sure they removed that input (Melee + Trick) so it could be used for Supers. It'd be weird to bring it back for a non-Super move. Best thing I could think of is removing Grounded Lunar Phase so Uppercut can go on Forward so Lunar Phase can use Back, with Kick 13 staying as Back to Forward.
I honestly hope that Vergil can still transform into his normal DT form and SDT form has it own moveset just like Dante SDT, and by the way, if Vergil only can transform into SDT, then what is that DT gauge for?
Here's my personal thoughts on "what that needs to be fix on Vergil in SE" BUT b4 we go to that, i know this is just a SE, the only new content is just playable Vergil with some new movesets and taunts, and some new cutscenes Nothing else But im still gonna leave this here : resized the "summoned swords/mirage bLaDeS"(really?) to its original size like in 1, 3,and 4SE even the reboot also got the size right I don't really care about the damage, effect or etc, just the size matters me And Change the name to "mirage Swords" :when Vergil getting ready to perform the JCE(his hand reaching the Yamato handle) he's doing it way to fast. slow it down a little bit, like he's taking his pace b4 attacking(like in 4SE) And also bring back the vanilla JCE sound effect and the barrier(but make it a world barrier) :resize his SDT like his vanilla one's, b'cuz in SE he's a little big/taller(and i don't like it!) This includes his doppleganger thats also a little big/taller And Mix the vanilla SDT blue barrier explosion effect and the black clouds with SE effect :lastly fix his deep stinger finishing animation Here's why After spinning wildly Vergil end his attack with a Mirage edge Slice(he holds the sword on his right hand) after that he sheaths the Yamato(from his left hand) into the ignition sheath on his left arm(like how is that even possible?) while the same time putting the mirage edge on his back. Ain't Vergil always hold the Force/Mirage edge on his left arm?(same time with Yamato on his right arm ofcourse) Here how its should be reanimated: after Mirage edge slice(that he holds on his left arm) he puts the sword on his back first and then sheath the Yamato to its ignition sheath(on his left arm) (Thats way better) You all may agree or disagree, but this is just somthin' personal of mine
What's funny about the SDT being bigger is that even though there's a smooth animation for starting or stopping it (the curtain of sparkles), it still has to scale to the right size in a little jolt, kind of like an afterthought. Maybe they did it to make SDT seem stronger and more impactful? I can get why, it's just a little awkward to think about, especially when you see the detransformation close up in a cutscene that suggests there would be no jolt.
