In terms of distance, Kansai Airport is 40km from the center of Osaka, and Itami Airport is about 10km. Before Kansai Airport was established, Itami Airport was used for international flights, but now it is used only for domestic flights. However, the name is still Osaka International Airport(ITAMI). Based on past shooting history, B787-9 aircraft equipped with GE engines began to fly in and out of Itami Airport from around September 2022. ANA B787-8 aircraft are only RR TRENT1000. The B787-9 RR TRENT1000-equipped aircraft has not been seen for a while, so it must have been undergoing maintenance inspection. It is now seen occasionally.
