this is fun to listen to, especially knowing that the original song had a male singer because raito (the composer for melty blood) thought a lot of these doujin games always have female vocalists, but he couldnt find one in time so... he just sung it himself and killed it
Jesus I never knew, I listened to that opening every time I turned Melty on back in the day. Almost like a tradition, glad he put stock himself to make that iconic opening.
So a little fun fact about the band that plays the cover. If you seen Highschool of the Dead or are currently watching part 6 Jojo (Stone Ocean). They are also the band that played the OPs for both series.
I've only got into fighting games in the past month and don't know a lot about Melty Blood. So glad this vid came up in my reccommended. Can't wait to try out Type Lumina Update: its mad fun. I'm gonna try to overcome my social anxiety and go to a local tomorrow to play it with others. Akiha is fun even if she is really hard to play
@@nuclearcrystal100 its going really well! I haven't played type lumina in a bit because I've been focusing on uniclr. Ive still been going to my locals for the last 6 months and ive made some great friends. Its the highlight of my week
this is an old comment I know but just put "pp" after youtube in the URL and you can download an mp3 version there. I think it's pretty high quality, but I'm no audiophile lol.
@Cthuluka do you happen to have a download link for the mp3 song?? Thank's for posting this song I love it unfortunantely Kishida isn't very well known so it's impossible to search for a safe download link
@工具 Strive had a full demo and tons of footage, we have under 10 screenshots of melty. UNIST PC port was announced two weeks before it was released, so I wouldn't be surprised if melty ends up the same. As for generic; I'm really not sure what you mean, it shares an art style with two other games. In my eyes, the look of UNIST and DFCI are an evolution of the style melty tried to go for at the time, just seems natural that it'd adopt the style itself.
