Knockdown is when you shoot the ball from a distance and it goes in, you say Knockdown, eg Knockdown jumper. Lockdown is where you defend your opponent to the point you actually lock him down, not allowing any shots. And in the video Marcus basically kept stealing the ball out of that kid’s hand, it’s a defensive play, no way in hell he would say knockdown. In American English, especially black American accents, Lock is often pronounced “Lark” liker locker, I sounds are also pronounced with the tongue putting pressure against the top of your inner mouth, instead of sticking it out between the teeth, which is why you would think there’s an N sound, but it certainly didn’t have the nose N sound when you pronounce Lock. Hear it again I promise there’s more tongue flick than the nose N. Currently in Carolina.
Yea this is the traditional ones.used in taiwan mostly, china uses the simplified. But if you take some time you will understand both. It aint hard, just the traditional ones got more strokes than the simplified.
