Another fact is the change/transfer of momentum when crash occured. “In a collision of two cars of unequal mass, the more massive car would drive the passenger compartment of the less massive car backwards during the crash causing a greater speed change in the lighter car but they occur over the same time so the occupants of the lighter car would experience much greater acceleration (G force),hence much higher forces. Lighter, smaller cars provide less protection to the occupants than larger, heavier cars.” Not only the more of physical damage on the smaller car but the G force shifts your internal organs for displacement causing damages internally in your body ~ brains,stomach,liver lungs. - cannot understand why people choose cars eg Kelisa, Kancil as daily drivers. The lack of safety features n “smallness” r big risk factors when accident happened.

@@user-hd7hp9dn5f Rate of change of velocity is acceleration - physics. A g-force is a measure of acceleration. 1G is the acceleration we feel due to the force of gravity. When to bodies collide (oncoming frontal crash) , the result impact F = MxA (Force multiplied Acceleration). As acceleration is rate of change of velocities ~ assume the bodies travelled at 50kmh; the acceleration is not (50+50) but (50x50) ~ therefore the impact force is so great. With the transfer of momentum from a bigger mass to the smaller mass (eg pickup to Myvi) - always the pickup driver will walk off with lesser bodily hurt.

就用悬挂系统做例子吧, 想象下悬挂弹性不够的话过个小洞, 传进车里的冲击就很不舒服了, 何况是车速更快的碰撞。
