A pretty good presentation of the three cities with maps .. Vancouver is definitely one of my favorite cities of the world .. Only went there twice .. 20 years ago with my toddler kids .. we all loved the area .. Whistler is nearby .. we went there too riding up the gondola .. seeing the great snowy scenery .. nowadays its only an hour drive away .. so convenient if you’re a skier or snowboarder .. I visited Toronto once .. my buddy has been there years .. and will visit him one of these days .. definitely way too cold for my taste .. I went college in Wisconsin .. surely don’t miss the snowy winter .. But I would love to visit Calgary Banff area .. such a beautiful area in summer

Like she said, Toronto has a lot of opportunities. Vancouver is BEST if you have A LOT of money and would like to retire. However, Vancouver ranks low if you are a working class and would need to start from the beginning. Calgary is the best BANG for the BUCK if you are young. This is because of MUCH cheaper housing and much higher earning... Think about it, a family in Calgary earns 15-20% more than Vancouver and Toronto but their average home prices is 1/2 when compared to the two cities. This mean people can afford to live in A LOT BIGGER houses or are able to pay off their mortgage a lot quicker! This makes people in Calgary to have a lot higher disposable income, which allows them to travel or invest. Calgary is also a short drive away from Banff / Rocky Mountain area, which is the widely known as the prettiest area in Canada. It has many world class skiing resorts, as well as hot springs... Do your research. Each city got its unique charms... :-)

I lived in Calgary, your facts are correct, but ... if you can find a job in Calgary, you are set; particularly in oil and gas sector :p for ppl who are thinking about immigrating to Canada, consider your life stage, your personal character, etc, before deciding where to settle in Canada. Don't get me wrong, Canada is a beautiful country...AB is absolutely stunning in its natural beauty, so is BC, and TO area...enjoy

Why not Edmonton? The living cost is the cheapest among Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary. It's easy to find a job. The ranking of UA is great. The facilities and amenities are good as well

According to QS Top Universities Ranking 2021, University of British Columbia is only at 3rd place. Where 2n place belongs to McGill University from Montreal, Quebec and it is also an English speaking university.

其實落脚那個城市，都是要视乎當事人的學歷，職業，財政，家庭狀况和你想要的是什麽的生活。每一個地方都有它的特點，现在沙省也有很多人移民去那裹。

我现居温哥华，也曾居多伦多，租房及物价多伦多较低，我也喜欢多伦多多些，但因暂时需要，迟下会返回去。

Ryerson 以前只是一間Poly Tech 後來升格為U 如果嚴格比較 可能比一些普通U 更加好得多 而location 就在Yonge 街及Dundas的大後面 從前上完課就可去Yonge街玩樂 而Pinball 就最好玩 還有很多Strip Bar 及餐廰 更有大型唱片公司 Sam the Record Man 對！就是黑膠唱片 小型Boutique等 如喜歡大城市多倫多比較好而温哥華比較Boring 但是冬天不怎麼落雪開車比較方便多倫多開車如你不習貫或技術唔得你會很害怕的因雪地是很滑的 就算是Allwheel drive 加Snow tire 一樣會像是在滑冰 如你認為自己是高等生那就選U of T 吧 如想讀醫 Mountreal的McGill就最好不過冬天就比Toronto 更凍一些

妳所講有些知料是不正確的，如全加國陽光之都就是卡加利，全國最多工程師居住也是卡加利，所以平均個人收入較温市及多市高，卡加利是的医保费是全免的，而卡加利教師牧入是全北美洲最高的，卡加利也是全北美洲最大面積的城市(non metro), 如大温 及大多市都是由多個town合併而成，而卡城至今尚末与週边的城鎮合併。

我觉得有几点说的不准确。RYERSON 是多伦多第二大的大学？记忆力YORK U是第二大的。 UT是学术性的大学，如果是容易就业的WATERLOO好像更容易些，WATERLOO的COOP非常的完善。

Very good description of these 3 cities, but I disagree some of the points. the cost of living in vancouver is the highest, like always, and vancouver has always ranked the most expensive city in canada and even probably the top 5 most expensive city in the north america. Everything is more expensive than toronto, like housing, rent, food, gas, etc, yet toronto has higher personal income than vancouver. And calgary is not in good shape now since the oil sand business is crushing, unemployment rate is high, the fact you mention calgary has the highest family income is probably back in years ago when oil sand business was booming, most people are making 6 figures, now not the case anymore
