He's so good he makes art scary to continue lol! Won't stop us artists but he is so good it makes me wonder why i should continue instead of just hiring someone as good as him lol!
I had the luck of being there! I was 17 yo and I was stunned by his talent. When he started drawing barely no-one was there, then, discovering how amazing he was, people started coming an coming. What an amazing performance
Is there anyone that could match his skill in perspective? It felt like he was at the top way above all of us. What a legend... I hope someday another legend will rise to take his place
it's like in his mind the art is already projected on to the paper with his super hero like vision. I feel like he sees it all before he even starts drawing. such beautiful talent my words can't describe.
Is no talent... This man works harder then any off us and have in his heart true love, true love to make another drawing. Truealy a master and my idol to. God bless u.
Dude, no matter howhard you work, this guy level is godlike. You can become a good artist if you pratice no doubt, but this level of control, swiftness and memory only one in a billion.
Kim Jung Gi's draftsmanship is outstanding! Elite! This ink drawing took me back in time when I was into editorial cartooning and admiring the works of Pat Oliphant and the late Jeff MacNelly! There is something in pen/brush-and-ink drawings that, when done by a master, is just infinitely mesmerizing!
This guy has been drawing since he has memory and he never stops. That explains such as a mesmerizing talent Even Leonardo had other interests. I don't envy Jung Gi Kim's ability, but I feel I have wasted so much time!
RIP Kim Jung Gi. I've only recently discovered him and at first his drawings looked chaotic and full of flaws to me and then I started looking deep into it and saw how flawless they are and how every strokes of his brush makes sense and how beautiful the garden in his mind be.
My God.... I honestly have no idea how Mr. Kim's mind works this out. I mean I've watched video interviews that he explains how he just draws what he sees in his mind. But to watch him work is Still beyond incredible!
@@shinobiinu6920 It's not fair to belittle the ones that set the groundwork. Kim Jung Gi is an amazingly skilled artist that's for sure but his understanding is built on their foundations. Also hold up, who said he didn't study anatomy? He studied anatomy and the fundamentals just like every great artist. He literally gives classes on understanding the anatomy of objects and living things.
I would compare him to Michelangelo rather than Leonardo. Da Vinci was a really brilliant mind but as painter he was extremely insecure and not prolific. Michelangelo had a similar talent of Kim, he was able to draw bodies without any model, in any position and situation, he was fucking fast and he had the same talent of "seeing" the picture before finishing it. But Michelangelo was mainly a sculptor who had to work as painter, a man who was able to be a maestro on many artistic fields. Truly another level.
Golden ModeM Goldie, I didn’t see anyone mention race or say they didn’t appreciate his unmatched artistic level. Leave your race baiting shoulder chip at the door and stop trying to start shit. The only thing you revealed with your asinine comment is your own pathetic shortcomings.
Being able to make these amazing things, and having fun at the same time must be one of the best feelings in the world! this is what I call art and I will forever adore this man!
I may be wrong, but I believe this is a man who does not waste his time on screens: tablets, Smartphones, etc. Yet we watch him on them in awe of his gift of Art, memory and observation. He’s fascinating to say the least.
i think you're spot on there! Kim Jung Gi's skill in draftsmanship is top-notch, virtuoso-quality already! Inborn skills plus countless hours of drawing honed his talent to near perfection!
Everything about him is organic drawings right out of his imagination...I once painted drew with black ink and paintbrush and it was my zenith of skill one one stroke chance , our brain had to be so confidant in that instant....on the last note I really would LOVE TO SEE HIS WORK ANIMATED with fantastic background sound...it’s like a dream *...he’s truelly a MASTER.😇
catanator123654 Oh yeah I noticed it. He said in an interview he like to draw the forehead, hair, or head wear first to get the direction of the entire head. Then he fills in the blanks. i been also practicing using the block system he's talks about. By putting everything in perspective blocks reall changes the game.
This masterpiece requires a lot of experience knowledge and passion. Yeh its like a magic bursted out from the paper but we didn't know how much he worked and practiced for this. Its just proves that experience is one of the most important base or foundation in art making.
Most people don’t realize the true talent of this video. He made the whole thing without any reference of rough draft. It’s all done on the spot and thought of on the spot
Shout out to the individual who posted this without ads. I truly appreciate it and will subscribe. We would have watched him put this together over 45 minutes but the sped up version it’s just as remarkable.
Wow, this is insane, how is he doing this ? From his memory ? Wow, this is impossible to do by any human , well I guess except him. Wow just incredible.
I think he has a basic idea of where he's going with these mural type drawings. But I also think he is very spontaneous, and has obviously a very good eye for proportion and perspective, and he uses points of reference like a head or a hand or other objects to create people, animals and everything else you see in these murals. What gets me is how he layers everything from objects in the foreground to the ones in the distance. I mean there's so much to juggle. Crazy skills and technique! Good observer with an awesome imagination!!👏👏
I literally wanna meet the people who disliked this video . I mean what was there to dislike. His every single stroke with that one brush was just mindblowing and unbelievable
Extraordinario!!!!!
Jack Kirby used to draw in a similar way. He would start from top right corner and work to bottom left corner. No sketch lines. They both make me feel like trash as an artist. True prodigy level talent!!
