Owning a Neo Geo AES would be a dream for me. Unfortunately the consoles are very expensive. Dunk Dream 94 and Last Blade 2 are my favorite games on the Neo Geo. Unfortunately I was only able to play them via emulation. Neo Geo CD looks very good, but I don't know if the feeling is the same as on the AES. The infinite continues are definitely an advantage, but for me the most important factor is to have the true arcade feeling. Would you say the games play 1:1 the same? from experience? I like you reminiscing through your experiences when you present your consoles. Great videos and I hope it's ok that I write in English.
I really appreciate you thinking positively about my video :) I like Dunk Dream, too. Then I'll tell you about the Neo Geo CD. Early titles with smaller capacities like Dunk Dream have the same sense of gaming as AES and don't have long loading times. However, in the case of high-capacity, high-end games that were released later, it was difficult to handle even with the memory of Neo Geo CD, so there are titles with slightly lower quality and longer loading times. Last Blade 2 and Art of Fighting 3 are representative examples. Compared to AES, the animation frame of the character was reduced for Last Blade 2. And the loading time is long and there is often loading. Art of Fighting 3 has a smaller character size than the AES version to reproduce the vast animation frame of the character. Neo Geo CD is not suitable for people who are sensitive to loading times. Neo Geo CD is a 1x CD-ROM. But the Neo Geo CDZ is a 2x CD-ROM, so the loading time is 2x faster. So I think using Neo Geo CDZ will reduce the stress of loading time a lot. If the loading time is excluded and only the portability of the game is considered, the Neo Geo CD is the best quality of SNK games and is the closest to AES than Sega Saturn and PS1, which were consoles of the same generation at the time. I'm currently more attracted to retro games, which is why I really like your videos. My interest in Neo Geo has grown quite a bit and I'm looking for the best Neo Geo experience and console. Neo Geo CD looks really interesting, butlike you already said people are to focused on the loading times instead of the whole experience. So thanks for taking your time to explain it to me. I'm Spanish, but I live in Germany and here it's hot but rainy at the same time :(

갖고계신 패드 2개 모두 그러한 현상이 나타난다고 말씀하신것을 보면 패드 자체에 이상이 있을거라고 보기는 어려울거 같구요. 단지 네오지오CD 의 패드가 글쓰신 분 개인의 스타일에 안맞는거라고 저는 생각해요. 네오지오CD 의 패드는 일반적인 십자키 패드와 비교했을때 방향키의 방식이 확연히 다르다보니 글쓰신 분 본인에게 어색하게 느껴지고 좀처럼 적응이 안되시는거라고 생각해요. 네오지오CD 의 패드는 세계 여러나라 사람들로부터 명품패드로 칭송받았지만, 아무리 명품패드라고 할지라도 글쓰신 분 본인에게 안맞으면 어쩔수 없는거겠죠. 고로 안타깝지만 스틱을 사용하시는 수밖에 없겠네요. 영상 시청해주셔서 감사합니다 :)
네오지오CD 에도 고가의 타이틀이 존재하지만, 네오지오 AES 만큼 상식을 벗어나는 수준은 아니에요. 네오지오CD 의 가장 고가 타이틀은 100만원 근처라고 보시면 될거에요. 초철 브리킹거가 바로 그러한 경우이구요. 빅 토너먼트 골프 라는 게임도 아마 그것에 거의 근접한 수준일거에요. 메탈 슬러그 1 은 대략 40~50만원 정도일거구요. 제가 갖고있는 브레이커즈랑 메탈슬러그 2 의 경우도 30~40만원 수준이므로 네오지오CD 소프트 중에서는 고가에 속하는 편이에요. 영상 시청해주셔서 감사합니다 :)
저는 네오지오cd 게임기를 구입하지 않았지만,비싼 네오지오팩값을 생각하면 게임cd는 애기 수준이라 생각해요.하지만 저는 네오지오cd보다 새턴,플스를 사용했던 기억이 있네요.굳히 네오지오를 구입할 필요없이 새턴,플스에서도 네오지오(SNK)게임을 할수 있다는 생각을 합니다.네오지오CD는 용산에 빅에이 라는 네오지오 전문 게임샵에서 했던거 외에는 없는 것 같은 기억이 있네요.
영상에서 제가 네오지오CD의 여러가지 메리트에 대해 언급했듯이, 이처럼 게임기는 다 나름대로의 장단점과 매력과 개성을 갖고있으니 본인의 입맛에 맞는것을 구입해서 즐기면 그만이라고 생각해요. 그리고 새턴과 플스로 네오지오를 대체할수 있다고 말씀하셨는데, 새턴의 경우는 카트리지의 보조역할 덕분에 네오지오 게임의 이식도가 꽤나 훌륭했던 반면, 플스의 경우에는 네오지오 게임이 대부분 심각한 다운이식 이었기에 플스로 네오지오 게임을 온전한 퀄리티로 즐기기는 어려워요. 그리고 사실 네오지오에 존재하는 수많은 모든 게임이 전부다 새턴과 플스로 이식된것은 아니므로, 그 어떤 게임기도 네오지오를 온전히 대체할수는 없다고 생각해요. 네오지오는 오직 네오지오 여야만이 누릴수있는 것들이 많이 있어요. 그리고 네오지오를 보유해본 사람들만이 그 진가를 아는것이구요. 영상 시청해주셔서 감사합니다 :)
월화의 검사 2 처럼 지나치게 로딩이 길고 또 로딩횟수가 빈번했던 소수의 케이스가 사람들에게 부각되다보니, 로딩이 긴 게임기라는 부정적인 낙인이 찍혀버린것이라고 생각해요. 네오지오CD의 후기에 나온 고사양 고용량 게임의 경우는 로딩시간이 긴 게임도 존재하지만, 초기 중기에 나온 게임들 중에는 로딩시간이 상당히 쾌적한 게임들도 얼마든지 많이 있거든요. 하지만 네오지오CD 를 보유해본적이 없는 사람들은 그러한 세부적인 진실을 잘 모르는 경우가 많죠. 그리고 네오지오CD 는 컨티뉴 제한도 없고, 고품질의 AST 음원을 즐길수있으며, 네오지오CD 만의 오리지널 타이틀도 존재하죠. 이처럼 상당히 메리트가 있는 매력적인 게임기 이기에, 서양인들 중에는 그러한 가치를 알아보고 네오지오CD 를 사랑해주는 사람들이 굉장히 많아요. 영상 시청해주셔서 감사합니다 :)
