오븐 없이 냄비를 이용해 폭신한 카스테라를 만들었어요~
냄비에는 처음 구워보는 거라서 2번 구워봤는데 생각보다 잘 부풀고 폭신하게 구워지더라구요~^^
처음에는 60분 정도 굽고 두번째는 50분 정도 구웠는데 60분 정도 충분히 구운 카스테라가 더 탄력있고 꺼지지 않고 안정적으로 부풀더라구요~
냄비나 가스불에 세기에 따라 차이가 있지만 나무 꼬치로 찔러 뭍어나오지 않고 윗면까지 잘 익었을 때 뒤집어 구워 윗면도 색을 내주시면 될 것 같아요~^^
저는 코팅이 잘 된 냄비를 사용했고 중간중간 뚜껑에 맺히는 물기를 닦아 주며 구워야 윗면에 물이 떨어지지 않는 답니다~
굽고 직사각형 모양으로 자르니 시중에 파는 카스테라 같이 보이더라구요~~
식감은 아무래도 오븐에 구운 것 보다는 조금 덜 부드러운 느낌이지만 오븐없이 만들어도 괜찮은 것 같아요~
케이크 시트로 사용해도 충분히 괜찮을 것 같아요~
우유와 함께 먹으면 부드럽고 더 맛있게 먹을 수 있답니다~~

▶Pan size : 16cm x 10cm
▶재료
달걀흰자 120g (약 4개의 중간 사이즈 달걀)
설탕 100g
달걀노른자 80g (약 5개의 중간 사이즈 달걀)
중력분 80g
식물성 오일 20g
우유 16g
바닐라익스트랙 5g
소금 조금
▶레시피
1. 냄비에 버터를 바르고 냄비 크기에 맞게 자른 유산지를 붙인다.
2. 식물성 오일, 우유, 바닐라익스트랙, 소금을 섞어 둔다.
3. 달걀흰자를 휘핑하다가 큰 거품이 올라오면 설탕을 3번에 나눠 넣고 휘핑해 단단하고 윤기나는 머랭을 만든다.
4. 달걀노른자를 넣고 섞은 뒤 중력분을 체 쳐 넣고 섞고 (2)에 반죽을 조금 넣고 섞는다.
5. 섞은 반죽을 본반죽에 넣고 섞은 뒤 틀에 붓고 기포 정리를 한다.
6. 가장 약한불에 냄비를 올리고 뚜껑을 덮어 약 50~60분 정도 굽는다.
7. 접시에 엎어 꺼낸 뒤 냄비에 유산지를 깔고 반죽을 뒤집어 넣어 약불에서 10분 정도 구워 구움색을 낸다.

Idk how but by watching kdramas I've been able yo learn some words like Aniyo-means no,gumhao- means thanks and ve means why........i had a Korean pal but now we're separated ..😣 whenever i learn Korean ,it reminds me of her.....BTW thanx so much

Just made this on the stove and it came out perfect. Some tips when you make it on the stove ● make sure the flame is consistent (if it isnt then dont bother with baking it on the stove just use an oven) ● make sure the flame is hella LOWWW! ● use a good quality pot, a heavy bottomed pan to be precise (I personally used a tefol pot) ● make sure you grease the pot well (i used oil and then lined it with butter paper) ● dont skip the vanilla, i dont know what it is but when cooked on a stove it is more prone to smell eggy. ● p.s I made a coffee chiffon cake using this method and it was my first time baking on a stove.

@@ourlyrics9227 I just added instant coffee with a few tablespoons of water to make a syrup sort of and then added it to the batter make sure you fold it in dont mix it vigoursly.

Ingredients 120g Egg whites (about four medium eggs); should be room temp 100g Sugar 80g Egg yolk (about five medium eggs) 80g Plain flour 20g Vegetable oil 16g Milk 5g Vanilla extract a pinch of Salt * 16cm x 10cm pot Take your 16cm x 10 cm pot and butter the edges (PAM works too). Cover the insides and bottom of the pan with parchment paper. Trace the bottom of the pan and cut out on parchment paper. Stick inside the pan. Separate your yolks and egg whites. Mix the vegetable oil, milk, vanilla, and salt together in a small bowl In a bigger bowl, whip your egg whites. When they have become white foam, add sugar while continuing to mix with (handheld) mixer After they have reached an airy texture (do NOT need stiff peaks) mix in the egg yolks with a whisk (be gentle) (batter will turn a light yellow color) Sift in the flour (I prefer using a spatula here) Take a little bit of batter and mix it in the milk/vanilla/vegetable oil bowl until it’s incorporated and the texture is consistent Then mix #8 in the big bowl with the rest of the batter Pour the batter into the pot Stir batter with a toothpick/chopstick to smoothen out the lumps Put a steamer lid on the pot Turn on THE LOWEST HEAT you can Let steam/cook for 40-60 minutes. WATCH IT CLOSELY If a toothpick comes out clean, you’re done If you’d like, cut out some more parchment paper and flip the cake over and put in the pan for 10 minutes to brown the top of the cake.

Hi, if I were to use oven, what temperature would you recond and how long? I don't have heavy pot, mine a normal stainless steel, it will burn even with slow fire. To be safe I'd rather bake in oven.

May Adam - 150C for 45 to 55mins will do. Test your cake after 45 mins to avoid over baking. Enjoy 😃

만들어서 잘먹었습니다~~~ 영상보고 처음 해봤는데 돼서 신기 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 일단 해보고 난 다음 팁은 불은 진짜 생각한거 보다 더 약해야함 그냥 진짜 제일 약한 불, 그니까 진짜 불길이 나오는건가 싶을 정도로 약한불. 바로 먹을거면 설탕은 좀 덜넣어도 될듯, 따뜻하게 먹으면 좀 달고 식으면 많이 달진 않음. 전 식은 쪽이 더 맛있었음 반듯한 냄비가 없어서 순서 중에 유선지 붙이는게 제일 어려움 암튼 굿!

Massive info post: The recipe in cups, calorie content, and tips from after making it. (partly for myself to remember) The recipe in cups/tbsp/tsp: 4 egg whites 5 egg yolks 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup flour 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil 1 tbsp milk 1 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt Calorie content: Egg whites 68cal Egg yolks 275cal Sugar 387cal Flour 455cal Oil 148cal Milk 6cal Vanilla 12cal Salt 0cal Total calories(whole cake) = 1,351 cal 1 serving(1/8 of cake) = 168 cal Ok so I made this, it tastes kind of like pancakes but more eggy, sweet, and has such a nice texture. It will probably be smaller than you expect it to be; mine was about 8in across and 2in tall because my pan was a bit big. One tip I have though is don’t fully brown the top, it looks more aesthetic and tastes better if it’s only golden scorched (1-2 mins upside down). It tastes great alone but is also nice with tart fruit sauces. Thanks for reading, hope this helped someone :)) Edit: spelling.

this looks great, im actually going to bake this, ive got all my ingredients measured roughly and im about to start once my milk reaches room temperature. i will leave an edit with how it turns out and how i think of it. edit: definitely let it cool for awhile before cutting, it tastes eggy a bit but its also sweet, it would go fantastic with a fruit syrup as a topping, it is compatible with food dye, i dyed mine pink! its definitely time consuming, if you have a stove with a higher heat cook it for only 30-40 minutes or else the bottom will burn, that happened to me oof.. but its fantastic and its very fluffy and chewy, itd be a great desert for a party!

안녕하세요 쿠킹트리님 :-) 저는 평범한 30대 가정주부입니다. 고등학교시절 내이름은 김삼순 드라마덕분에 꿈이 파티시에가 꿈이였는데, 뭐여차저차...못하게됐거든요...그후로 그냥 빵만드는 영상만 달고살았어요. 근데 영상에서는 이것저것 재료도많이 들어가고, 준비도구도 엄청 많아보여서 선뜻 시도하기가 너무 부담스럽더라구요..그러고 그냥 결혼하고 빵만드는걸 잠시 잊고있다가, 어느날 쿠킹님 노오븐 카스테라 영상을 접하게됐어요. 아무생각없이 봤는데, 준비도구나 재료가 그렇게 거창하지않아도 만들수있다는거에 문득 제 자신이 너무 부끄럽더라구요^^;; 그래서 그래 망쳐도 한번 도전해보자! 라는 심정으로 영상본 그날 바로 신랑과함께 마트가서 머랭칠 반죽기 저렴하게구하고 밀가루 우유 등등 사와서 도전해봤어요. 레시피가 간단해서그런지 바로 성공하더라구요. 노오븐 카스테라가 제 생에 첫빵이였어요. 너무 벅차기도하고 재미있기도하더라구요. 진작에좀 배워볼껄 하고 후회도했구요..그리고 신랑이 빵을 너무좋아해서 별명이 빵돌이일정도로 너무좋아해요. 카스테라를 완성하고 먹더니 너무좋아해서 저도 너무 뿌듯하고 기분이 좋더라구요. 5월달에 이사가는데 홈베이킹 준비도구들 재료들 기본으로나마 사서 홈베이킹 제대로 해보려고합니다. 쿠킹트리님 덕분에 매일 카스테라만들고, 꿈을 이룬거같아 하루하루 너무 기뻐요. 너무너무 감사합니다. 너무 따분하기 그지없던 30대의 인생에 기쁨을 주셔서 너무 감사합니다. 두서없는글 읽어주셔서 감사합니다.. 읽으실지는 모르겠지만요..ㅠㅠ

This is a good recipe but not a good way for everyone. I tried by my stainless pot. after 22mins Pot game over. My cake game over burned. Maybe lowest fire not the same for every gas stove. Be careful.

There's lots of possibilities, but I'm guessing you have cheap pots that aren't actually heavy bottomed, meaning they have no resistance to temperature. The cheaper, thinner steel is more or less garbage because it's like putting your food right on top of the fire without any cookware at all. Heavy bottomed pots mitigate heat while storing it in the cookware. It's honestly difficult to find good stainless steel today that isn't priced for professional chefs. Even back in the 80s, that stuff was everywhere. Today? Virtually non existent.

i used some unused aluminium plate on top of the fire,that way,my cake don't gef burn,or you can used empty pot,and put your cake inside the pot with smallest fire.

Hi there! I have tried out at least 20 of your recipes and the results have been perfect without fail. I just LOVE your instructions. Your videos are therapeutic and so clear. I have never learned more about the consistency of creams and batter or the right timing than I did watching your channel. That's especially astonishing considering you do not speak a single word.😅 So thank you from the bottom of my heart! I'm trying your swedish princess cake next. Some of the best responses I got were for the no-bake honey cheesecake, the lemon curd and the strawberry charlotte. I adore the no-oven castella. That cake is like an epiphany!!! Unfortunately I only have an electric stove and even on the lowest setting mine always tends to go very dark on the bottom. Luckily that does not affect the top and I just cut it off. This cake would hold up well to dunking! Either coating half with a thin layer of chocolate, or pouring a sauce onto it! It’s plenty solid enough to keep the integrity of the cake! Nicely done! ❤️🇨🇦🍒

Tried it out. Worked well for me! Almost as good as the ones I tried in Japan. Will make again. Most Castella recipes need you to have a wooden box and this one doesn’t.

It's very easy way to prepare very soft, sponge-like, delicious cake. My mother is doing it without vegetable oil and milk-just with eggs, sugar and flour and it still works. One advice: instead of opening pan and cleaning the vapor from the lid, just take clean wide cotton towel, fold it to have 2-4 layers and put between the pan and its lid. Fold free ends atop, to avoid burning... All vapor will be absorbed by towel.

The rice cooker shuts off as soon as the water evaporates, and it is usually way before the cake is done. So it has to wait until there is moisture in the pan again, because it will not let you turn it on, I tried it, it did not let me. And it has to be repeated a couple of times, because maybe five minutes longer at a time it will cook the cake. The result is a nice, moist cake. Maybe not for this sponge cake batter, but maybe some moist one, the rice cooker is perfect. There's a thai lady, she has cooking and baking videos for rice cooker.

@@awyarekondoya hi, I've tried to fry frozen breaded liver in the ricecooker, it didn't fry it all the way, kept shutting off, and then after a while it would let me turn it on again. After I watched this thai lady, I realised what happened. I did not try to bake a cake yet, and I cannot wait to do it, we have tons of zuccini, but it helped understand how it works.

Тоже так раньше всегда делал. Бисквит был отличным. Пергамент был дефицит, поэтому мелко рвали тетрадные листы и ими выстилали дно. А потом купили нормальную духовку...

здравствуйте! я готовила этот бисквит несколько раз!!!!и всегда получался на ура!правда прежде чем накрыть крышкой,я накрывала кастрюлю салфеткой,(и не открывала её ровно 45 мин),потом выключила газ и оставляла ещё на 15 мин.И только после этого открывала крышку!и всё!

Девушки, пришедшие после просмотра разоблачения, если человек рукожоп, то во всем 🙈 и оладушки у таких не поропекутся. Ещё в детстве бабушка готовила бисквит в сковородке с толстым дном. На обычной плитке. Зная свою печку - пекли в кастрюле, а кастрюлю в чугунную сковороду поставили. Под крышку полотенце. Все нормально поднялось и не сгорело 🤷‍♀️

i tried it..taste good and easy to cook..just my pan burned easily..even i used lowest flame..took around only 15 mins and still burned..so i got ride the burned side..and eat the inside..the texture feels like chiffon cake..next time maybe i will use my oven..hehe..still thank u for the recipe,guys..i like it..

The recipe is excellent i tried it ,it cake like she showed it, I thought it’s not gonna turn out good like most of the recipes I try . I tried it twice the first over a stove and it got burnt in 10 minutes the next time in the oven it’s was my best cake I made so far if only I still have the cake to send an image of it

I was so happy when saw the cake rose so high but at the end it sank 😭. When I checked again, it is this part I missed “the cake swells up to its maximum height, and when it SINKS SLIGHTLY, IT SHOULD BE READY”. Will try again next time.

Такой способ печь бисквит я узнала несколько лет назад. Там говорилось, что так пекли армянки и это был какбы их секретный рецепт. Эх сделали бы они это видео пораньше)) Кстати, печь надо в алюминиевой толстодонной кастрюле и с рассекателем. Тогда низ не подгорит, оказывается. Вот сколько собиралась попробовать, да такой кастрюли не нашла. Завидую по белому уже приготовившим :-*
