정말 조성진은 섬세함에 특화된 연주자 같다. 그렇다고 유약하기만 한게 아니고 열정적일때는 열정적이지만 그 열정마저도 마냥 강렬하기만 한게 아니라 로멘틱하고 어딘지 우아한 구석이 있다. 그래서 드뷔시나 라벨 같은 섬세하고 음색의 색채를 살리는 곡들이 어울리는 것 같다. 거의 건반을 치기보다는 어루만지듯이 다루면서 물의 유연한 움직임을 표현하고 후반부에서는 탁트인 무지갯빛 호수나 바다 같은 이미지도 살려내는 느낌

It's like out of your character . . . A: It's not new. I love good food. It is also interesting to compare each country when I travel. I am like: why am I receiving this response here? Although it went well during my practice, sometimes I get nervous, make a mistake, or don't like a certain part that I played during my performance. I make a notation on the notes right away by drawing triangles, stars, and post-its. Next time that part comes okay but another part troubles me. Then I mark that part accordingly. By doing so, I am bringing up my performances to my own satisfaction. It's fun. After all, having a satisfactory performance is what makes me happiest. Q: If you play the same piece (Chopin Concerto No.1) 60 times, for the lack of a better word, you are nearing "perfection" . . . A: By playing the same piece 60 times, I was able to have more satisfactory performances. I think it's good to play the same program at least 10 times. I feel fortunate that I can play the same program 10 times. Before the Chopin Competition, I wasn't able to tour and had to move around from one program to another. I can do recital tours and that makes me happy. Q: When you have recitals . . . A: In this season, I will be performing Beethoven's Sonata, Debussy's Images, and Chopin's Sonata.

billi hilton that is a common problem with interviewers in korea. They often make fool out of themselves with silly questions. In here, she asks irrelevant questions rather than attempting to dig profound artistic layers of Cho. Who actually cares about how good his french is or if he likes to eat? Such a waste of precious time. Hopefully they bring out more professional interviewers.
