@@christophernieto4648I believe you have the right to not allow phones at your own show. At a club or something where a lot of people are performing you’d have a hard time policing that. This show we are watching here was neither, it was recorded by the venue.
@@ConLLee yeah I looked into how he does it. Everybody puts thier phone in a locked bag. I'd imagine you also go through a metal detector since he has been attacked before. It's interesting how they do it now.
@@christophernieto4648 I remember hearing something about the locked bags. Interested to see what they look like. Guess I got some googling to do too haha.
I actually didn't even notice I laughed.90% of the time and I'm only an hour in. If I didn't see this comment I wouldn't have noticed how long I was listening to this.
I've watched this entire show multiple times and I laugh probably 80 percent of the time. The other 20 percent I'm thinking about the deep shit he just said. Dave is a great story teller he can make you laugh and make you think. In my eyes he is truly the greatest of all time
I'm trying to save this. Pretty sure I'll mess up the saving, I'm 71 & electronically about as unable as I've ever been... Hoping I do save this for my son...knowing him he's already seen this, memorized it & hoping I never go online.. Oh well. Too late for saving me .. It's late and still spring in CA. CHAPPELLE, no matter if I mispell it or if I can't say it right. He's the GOAT...Way smarter than me for sure I'm signing off to hopefully save this .. Thanks for lettin' me go on and on ..🎉😮😊. Bye 4 now.
MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!!!!!!!🎯💯👑👑👑👑👑👑👑💯💯💯💯💯😎😎😎😎😎 this is 2023, this is the 1st time I’ve seen this, I am totally in love with this MAN!!!! The intelligence is astounding!! And I’m lucky enough to see this!!!!!
I'm from Cincinnati which is only about 40min from where Dave lives in YellowSprings, OH. It's a really cool little hippy town. Perfect for Dave. I think his dad was a professor at the college up there. Great place. Wouldn't mind living there one day myself.
First time I've seen this set from Dave Chappelle. To see a channel dedicated to him and what he has accomplished is a great thing. Subscribing just because of that. 😁
What a legend. It’s all here, besides being hilarious at times of course, Dave opens up and is natural, revealing, sincere, and vulnerable, especially if you consider the time frame this took place in. This was when everyone heard he walked from 50m for mysterious reasons. It becomes apparent that he’s just starting fresh again and is putting himself out there and regaining his balance but this time he’s already a Pro, not a beginner, and knows that just by interacting with the crowd, he’s creating small sparks that will be the predecessors to raging bonfires of new material. Worth every second…thanks Chappelle for this intimate evening
If you ever get a chance to pay attention we’ve been saying that forever the war on immigrants invading this land have been talked about for generations
Dave is conservative in everything but name. If you actually listen to what he’s saying he’s conservative but doesn’t want to make the leap to admit it. I myself do not like like conservative or democrat because I think they secretly work together but divide us.
I'm with you with your argument, but I think that's exactly what the best comedy is: a free speech talk about his vision of the world getting off his chest, while being funny and engaging with real people... Really good for him 🙏🏻
My favorite moments when i watch Chapelle, is when he casually pulls out a cigarette and smokes . Like he’s just one of us chillin , getting comfortable and kick back and shoot the shit. There’s an intimate vibe . Sorry, I’m not sure if i’m making sense to anyone.
Loved the Philippines. I was stationed there in 1985 at Clark A.B.....Beautiful country, and the people were so nice. But you are right, alot of poverty.
I like dave, he's just got interesting thoughts about shit, i would rather see him in a small venue like this, more like just conversating, and still funny
I sang with him one time at a show. He started singing What’s The 411 by Mary J Blige and I did Mary’s part. It was a pretty epic evening. One I will never forget. Shock G was on the piano… it was one of the best nights of my life
I don’t think the guy who posted this is saying that it was originally filmed on the 25th of September this year. I think he’s just saying that he posted it on that date. I think it is from sometime in the last 10 years because he put on a bit of weight since the Chapelle show and this looks like it’s about halfway through the last ten years. But I could be wrong because it’s been against the law to smoke indoors in the uk for about 15 years now so it’s probably before then because they’re really strict about it especially in public buildings like bars and nightclubs etc. But I’m not totally sure if this is in London or New York because I heard him say about going out in New York but he has spoken more about London so god only knows. I must admit that I haven’t watched it properly so if I had then I would probably know where it is from. Anyway he’s one funny mf and I’ve always been a huge fan of his. I like his outlook on modern life too.
It's not just you.. Driving me nuts..not even to jokes, they're laughing even when he's just sharing a story.. At one point Chappelle was probably asking "wtf are these people laughing at🤔".. 😅 Terrible audience but fvck I'd love to have been there.
Why did that make your blood boil? It's the same reaction the Joaquin Phoenix interview went the same, etc. Gibson.... "BASE!! I'm in rehab" Dave is a master @ his craft
1:26:00 He grabbed his jacket, they thought he's gonna leave, they stared applauding... little did they know, he'd stay for another 2 and a half fucking hours. Absolute madlad Dave.
Hey Dave,, amazing show. I only wish you could have researched information about European exploitation and abuse of African people. From the 6 Nigerian slaves who invented the Cort process in Jamaica which, stolen by the British, became the foundation of the British "industrial revolution". Or the cruelty of the Belgians who killed Patrice Lumumba, cut his body in 32 pieces to butn it so he would never be found, or the French treatement of Algerians when they fought for their independance,, etc,,
