Would be a much better video of the material removal rate would be the same and one does 4 passes with 100mm/min and the other one 1 with 25mm/min

@@carsonmcnamer5321 I mean yeah, comparing time cutting is pointless as it will be roughly the same, the difference is how it affects the tool you're using as some tools are good for quick shallow cuts and others are fine plunging an inch or more into solid steel

Different cutters will always cut at different speeds. I didn't see a single actual comparison.

They are the same milling cutters. That's the special one tool that can do both

@@parkertaylor1507 they are definitely the same. You can see from the main body, the exact same design. The heads may change but the body doesn't It's like a tool set where you have the same grip but different heads for the screwdriver.

There are good time to go for deep cuts with slower feed over high feed with lighter cut but it depends on many thing

Was ist denn limitierend für den Vorschub? Die Hitzeentwicklung an der Schneide, oder? Demnach würde ich sagen das schneller Vorschub bei kleiner Abnahme besser, bzw schneller ist. Hab ein Video gesehen mit aktiver Flüssigstickstoff-Kühlung. Würde damit die Geschwindigkeit erhöht?

YOU DON'T ACTUALLY NEED COOLANT. When machining in the old days most times they might use a bit of oil as lubricant but even that wasn't always used. Now a days coolant is more available and machines more commonly use it but it isn't required though it does help tool life and it also acts as a lubricant. However, it is common practice when filming to turn coolant OFF and use AIR to clear chips. Because coolant and cameras, particularly lenses, generally don't get along well. Coolant would also prevent you from seeing the actual cutting action as well so. There are many reasons why you may not use coolant in a situation like this.
