Jann is such an ARTIST! I watched a few interviews with him and he is super creative and he not only writes his own lyrics and music but also takes charge in the music videos. I'm just so impressed with his confidence at such a young age, he shared that he makes sure his creative vision is heard when he collaborates with directors, etc.

That boy is pure talent... heaps of it. I hope he can survive the stress of facing a government and medias that don't understand him and are even outright hostile. I think most countries would be lucky if he decided to represent them.

I hope Jann comes back one day in Eurovision. Hopefully 2024.

Jann is amazing, he has a great talent. Pre-selection performance... well, the favorite was promoted on TV for half a year, the others found out about qualifying for the final 10 days before the performance. It is difficult to shorten the original work and bring it to the stage in such a short time and without a large financial backing. Plus, it was Jann's first TV appearance. Despite the bad sound, he did well and won the hearts of fans, not only in Poland :) When it comes to Jann's lyrics, he says that he writes them so that everyone can interpret them according to their own needs. Strange to say that Jann might have won Eurovision for not being selected by Poland! His talent has shown and his profile is so far above where it was before the selection. I expect him to try again and when he makes it to the big stage it should be something special!

Thank you for your reaction, Jann after preselection gains a lots of fans not only in Poland but worldwide.He is on the biggest festivals in Poland now, his first tour sold out within 24 hours, he also performed with Jared Leto1/30 STM on Orange Warsaw Festival. He has another 10 songs, 3:27 I recommend especially ,,Promise", ,,Met the god ", , one missed call", , emperors new clothes" all of them are great.❤

Thank you for your kind words. Im afraid that in the current political climate in poland Jann won't get any support from the government controlled national broadcaster TVP. Just recently one of the tvp mediaworkers said about him, that his androgyny is a deviation and he needs treatment. I'd be happy if Jann represented in the future another country because i think that at this point he doesn't owe anything TVP

Hi Tom! Firstly I absolutely love Jann, Gladiator would have been iconic in Eurovision! I watched your video about the Poland NF just now and it helped me actually understand what all the drama was about, reading about it through tweets wasn't that helpful haha, absolutely shocking what happened, Jann would have got Poland a better result for sure I am curious though and I'm sure you will know...what is the criteria to represent a particular country for Eurovision?? I understand Andrew Lambrou switched from Australia to Cyprus because of his granddad being Cypriot but for example, Victor Crone did Melfest this year but has represented Estonia but I went on his wikipedia page and didn't see anything about him having any Estonian heritage??? Always been curious about this as I find it quite amusing when people switch countries haha

Yeah, Gladiator as a song was definitely interesting, although his live performance was lacking. But maybe it would have been better with dancers surrounding him, so that he didn't have to dance himself and could focus more on his vocals. Furthermore, the stage wouldn't have looked that empty either. This song is also interesting, different from Gladiator, though. The elevator theme in this video is kinda fascinating as well, great idea. Good dancing and acting. Yep, maybe mext time, he should be taking the stairs instead, lol.
