Solo is not my choice, my whole family voted for Jann . Blanka's victory was set before the preselection. It's a pity that Jann was treated like this Solo is shit, Gladiator is hit.

I think you are the first person to notice that the "laugh" in the second verse was most likely intentional. So many people credit it to stress or excitement but it goes perfectly with the lyrics and he got his voice under control so quickly you can't convince me it was an accident. It looks brilliantly staged.
Jann interpreted his song. He was the only one in this preselections doing that. He said in one of his interviews that he also would like to be an actor so here we could see he's already a very good performer with acting skills 😃

The sad thing is The reason he wasn’t chosen was probably due to him not fitting into heteronormativity. The Polish government has made their stance clear on queer people and this is just a representation of that. I hope people continue to support Jann for much longer than just this year. He really deserves it.
It was clearly rigged. Jann won. Facts: 1) Blanka is friends with the son of Edyta Górniak who was head of the jury. 2) Her dancers are from the dance studio of yet another juror (Agustin Egurolla). 3) She’s been heavily promoted and already performed in TVP, e.g. at the New Year’s Eve broadcast with the same song. 4) Although Jann and Alicja were clearly the favourites, the jury strategically put them in 4th and 5th places to make sure that who the jury picked won. 5) The rules on how the winner is picked were changed 2 days before the broadcast. In past years, the winner was picked based solely on the televote but this year they decided to do it 50/50 jury’s vote and televote. And they even added a disclaimer that in case of a tie, the jury’s vote breaks it. 6) Probably most damning piece of info: at 3pm TVP posted that Blanka won and proceeded to quickly delete the post. The winner was officially announced around 6:30pm. There are screenshots.
Też mam screen artykułu o podobnej treści z godziny 17:03, czyli na chwilę PRZED konkursem. Co ciekawe, było w nim napisane, że drugie miejsce zajął Jann, a trzecie Dominik Dudek. Brzmi znajomo? Bo jeszcze gdyby po prostu było napisane, że Blanka wygrała, to mogłabym pomyśleć, że jakiś niedoświadczony dziennikarzyna niechcący umieścił zarys postu, który miał być jeszcze uzupełniony ostatecznymi danymi. A to nie, oni musieli mieć to już dawno opłacone i wiedzieli, że ten produkt marketingowy Blania wygra. Niech się cieszy "popularnością" póki może, bo na polskim rynku jest już spalona, a i kariery międzynarodowej jej nie wróżę, bo jest na to po prostu zbyt słaba. Janek za to ma w sobie to coś, a w dodatku jest utalentowanym artystą (sam pisze swoje utwory, komponuje muzykę, a nawet reżyseruje teledyski), więc oby teraz na fali tego szumu odniósł prawdziwy sukces.
Hi, Pedro. I am from Brazil, and I am crazy about Eurovision. I am also following the nationals of some countries. Gladiator is the best song I have heard so far this year. I am not even Polish, and I feel terrible about this rigged result. It is unacceptable. Jann is the whole pack: excellent performer, great song, handsome, good dancer and an incredible voice. His presence on the stage is so powerful that he performs by himself, and nothing is missing. It is sad because not only have the Polish people lost their favourite one to represent them, but the contest also lost an incredible show.
We need to fight this fraud, everyone who can need to sign up petition, we cant just let this slide, non polish people can also sign, its open petition
We all ask the same question: Why this man did not win? - He got the biggest support, the strongest song, the best charisma, the most votes, yet he lost - just because of jury. So dissapointing.
There is REAL drama in Poland right now. People even created a petition to change the verdict and there is already 12k signs. But even if something would happen and jury would change their choice (which I really doubt) I don't think Jann would agree to reprezent Poland in eurivision. In all interviews he says to stop hating Blanka because it's not her foult. He also says that he's really happy to have a lot of new fans and that he accepts the verdict. Although, I still don't agree with the verdict and I think he would definitely be better than Blanka.
I get that he wouldn't want to get involved in this whole mess, and at the end of the day he ended up starting his career. He didn't win for going to Eurovision, but he definitely won much more than Blanka. Everyone hates her
I'm from Finland and this was the greatest tragedy of the NF season of 2023. Like damn he was INCREDIBLE and the song is pure art. Now Poland has something that's a borderline qualifier at best instead of this masterpiece and a top 10 placement. I really do feel for the people of Poland who wanted to send Jann but got fckd over by the rigged juries. Well, if anything I became of this amazing artist and def will catch his concert someday if I get the opportunity.
I was sad all day, a lot of people wrote that they were crying. I don't understand how it was possible to hurt Jann and many people who voted for him in such a perfidious way. After all, everyone can see what an amazing artist Jann is.

I didn't even think that I would be so damn disappointed and angry with the choice of a song for Eurovision. In my whole life, I never expected that I would care so much about the song contest... But this year we had such a firecracker that many people in Poland want and also foreign media chose him highly. I don't understand why Polish government did this to us! So shame... There is a petition from fans to repeat the preselection and now is more than 16 000 people who vote in that petition. It means something! I wish we could change this, because Jann is the best.

Jann could've improve his vocals and breath control until May but "Solo" will be as mid as it is now even if Blanka will train her vocals (she won't slay either way tho)
He doesn't need to practice vocals and breath control, he needs a sound engineer who can do his job just fine. The mix on the record is awful and it's a badly done job by the sound engineer.

I got so overemotional when u said that this is better than solo because IT'S A MASTERPIECE THE PERFORMANCE WAS PERFECT AND HE WAS OUR ONLY HOPE AFTER THE RIDE FROM 2021. I feel so betrayed and so bad. He was perfect he is the only one that we had a chance with to show Europe an amazing artistic show... I, as a German, am so glad that we could overturn the jury voting by the audience votes. It's such a shame for Poland that Blanka is going to the ESC. Jann with "Gladiator" is top notch ..this would have been a safe TOP 5 imho.

The results were most likely rigged by the jury. Btw as a traditional Catholic with traditional Catholic parents I can confirm we all supported Jann during the contest and me and my mum are super pissed about what happened.
The best reaction in this sad situation :) We fight for our rights, we will see what will come. For me, if Blanka goes further, for the first time i don`t care if my country will go to final or not.
One should also mention that Blanka's song, even if it were sung and danced to correctly, is the usual pop/dance entry that you forget five minutes after listening to it. It's good for a drink at a bar on the beach.

I follow Jann career for the past 1 year. I am from old emigration of 1981 and live in Vegas now. All his songs on Spotify are amazing and very different than an average arrangement. It reminds me of opera, classical music, goth, rock,..kind off like Queen!!!
