@@Olga_Reznikova links to the official Ukrainian government program that you’re talking about so people can get more information about it. That’s the link that makes sense not ministry quotas - no idea why you mention those.
PRICELESS 👍....thanks Olga ...nice to see Ukraine giving opportunity to IT specialists who may wish to work in another country as opposed to the one they were born in. SOUNDS GOOD 👍
How do I apply for Ukrainian life residency; where do I get the forms from? How much does it cost? Once I have residency, does that give me automatic Ukrainian Nationality?
Permanent residence does not give you citizenship automatically, but it gives you opportunity to apply for citizenship if you wish. to do so, For application you need to prepare your documents, translate them and leaglize... and apply at the Ministry of Digitalization. Usually this all work is done through lawyers.

you are now showing your true skills, knowledge and abilities on your channel... your talents to see a need and connect people and business together ... this is very important and you should expand this effort... there are many young persons that will accept these opportunities.... also the need to connect persons with language skills... many persons will benefit by learning Ukrainian language and customs/rules... maybe you can compile a list of ukrainian lawyers and be the agent who connects the lawyers and decision makers together with the persons wanting to move and start businesses in Ukraine... i believe that is your talent
Isn't there still a risk at the moment of being abducted and forced into some army or other? An IT guy could be useful in figuring out how some missile or radar system works, especially if they have lost the manual. Or if the IT guy can read English and speak Ukrainian he could be useful making sense of American equipment.
British have often taken the opposite attitude! That's what started our 1812 to 1814 war against the US, at least officially - taking American sailors off ships at sea to help sail British ships in fight against Napoleon.
I would think there aren't any jobs available now in Ukraine because of the war. If there are openings for IT professionals, then those jobs must be for the government. I know the salary in Ukraine is very low. How much would an IT pro make in Ukraine as an expat?
Why do I have to be an IT PROFESSIONAL? What about other professions? I am a trades man. How many trades men that could not go work in Poland will no longer be working in Ukraine? How strong is the need for labor? What about farmers could I buy a farm? To keep the land out of greedy industrial farming?
There are other professions as well... Not only IT... But IT has the biggest quotas - 5000 people. Farmers and traders are not high skilled professionals, but you can come as work as trader or farmer in Ukraine. YOu can buy a farm if you want as well, there are no restrictions on that.
@@Olga_Reznikova if repairing mechanics is not high skill I guess all the it pros should have this taken care of with their fat wallets. I'll continue making 100k/yr here while also holding the opportunity to reside / retire in UA.
After Ukraine has won the war there will be so much international investment and opportunity in Ukraine that thousands of people will be applying to work there to help rebuild the country.
Dream on. Sadly there will be very few Ukrainian able bodied men left once Russia achieve their aims. In fact, Russia will probably occupy the whole of Ukraine. If cokehead Zelensky had done the deal in Istanbul in April, Ukraine as a state could have been saved.
Seems there has been a need for IT in Ukraine over the years. What is the goal this country in particular has in mind? One future that has been forecast for Ukraine is the first cashless digital society in the world. What could possibly go wrong with that?!
YOu don't have to live and work in Kyiv. Permanent residence gives you right to stay and work in the country IF YOU WISH. If you don't want, you can live anywhere in the world.
@@Olga_Reznikova oh but ukrainian accounting is only one aspect, there are lots of accounting jobs that do not require country specific knowledge such as business analyst, Fp&A, cost accounting, accounts payable, treasury etc...
@@max3334441 I guess accountants are "Service" jobs, they are not earning money for the company.. they are just assisting.... If Ukraine or any other country, need to move economy, they need "core" specialists - who are engaged in creating value.
Sounds like a great idea for Zelensky to get some cash in for free. Let people be resident in the Ukraine but not actually be physically resident but pay tax on the income from working outside the Ukraine. Great for self employed nomads or operating a foreign limited company with low corporation tax paying dividends to a resident of the Ukraine.
@@johntheaccountant5594 You pay taxes if you are earning money in Ukraine and living in Ukraine. If you are foreigner, not living in Ukraine and not earning money in Ukraine, than you don't need to pay taxes.
