In a country where the average yearly salary is $1700-6000 a year. He is doing ok for himself? You are thinking about it from your economy's perspective. He is making $6/hr x 8 = $48 a day, $240 a week, $960 a month, no overheard and probably not paying taxes. Even if making half that he is at the end of annual income.

In these countries hygiene is not what is for us in developped countries! We have to appreciete it and to understand the reality of these people . Im massage therapist in my own home and i do this job from 4, years so i feel for this guy

Edit: I looked it up, it's $0.75/kg so he can buy almost 3 kilos of potatoes with $2 and feed his entire family for the day. Also I assume he has more than 1 client a day so he's alright

This may appeal to local Vietnamese but to attract tourists, more effort is required to make it more hygienic. Suggest to use disposable cover to lay on top of the mattress and pillow, thrown away with each use. If customers lay on top of the bare mattress and pillow, the sweat, dirt and germs from the body will stick to the fabric. If the person has contagious disease, it may spread to the next person who use the mattress and pillow. Also, use shampoo to wash the hands after each massage, and disinfect all the cups that stick to the back of the body after using. Tourists won't mind paying more if it's cleaner. Say $4 or 5 (or more) instead of $2. But not too high because people can then visit those who operate massage centres in proper environment instead of the streets.
My man you are talking like this is a street massage in New York or something, this is in Saigon, where people live in almost constant 25-35 C⁰ temperatures, and most of the people around the area that this video was filmed at probably barely have basic human needs accessable. Not to mention, because they grow up with all this un-hygeinic stuff, their immune system is immensely strong, and can handle way more than westerners can. Also do they look like they can afford to buy all sorts of massage and cleaning attributes, lol. They'll be fine.
