Me too I also sometimes feel like I don't mind Nigerians and the West hating so we can enjoy our paradise in absolute peace because the place won't change because you dislike it. The SA flag is also dope because the colours carry meaning 1. The Red illustrates all the blood that has been spilt over the centuries fighting over this oasis. 2. The Black represents the Black people of the country who constitute the majority of the population 3. The Gold represents the Gold underneath our soil whose natural abundance gave rise to the country. For 100 years 60% of all gold in the world came from just 1 country called South Africa 4. The green represents our biodiversity. South Africa is the most biodiverse country in the world making a claim to represent in abundance both aquatic and land species like no other country. If Africa was Eden then South Africa must have been the epicentre. The geology alone tells you that the oldest rocks in the world are located in South Africa, while the oldest known human remains are found in South Africa and Kenya. 5. The slim white represents the country's white population who constitute the minority. Descendants of various European countries including the Netherlands, Germany, Britain, France and Greece, they have morphed into a homogenous group of African born white people who through their exploits (whatever the merits) have carved out an identity as children of the same lands. 6. The Blue represents our beautiful oceans whose shoreline has made the country Top in the world in terms of its blue dot status, meaning some of the cleanest seas and shorelines in the world, from Northern KZN, to Coffee Bay, to Dwesa, to Mazzepa Bay, to Morgan Bay, to Cintsa, to Morgan's Bay, to Pollock Beach and Humewood beach, to Jeffrey's , down to Knysna and Wilderness all the way way down to Camps Bay, and Boulders Beach up towards Namibia the entire coastline line from Richards Bay in KZN to the edge of Northern Cape border with Namibia. If you marry the Flag to the words of the national anthem then my friend you may just be left in awe of what we South Africans take for granted is a country called South Africa

@@anthonielegrange8688 Apparently you can't stick a finger out the door without getting your ring stolen. We murder farmers more that beef. Our government is stupid (greedy, yes. All of the parties are, but not stupid). ..the list goes on and on, but our sense of humor goes unmatched. That's our saving grace. And the Springboks. And biltong. And braaivleis. And amapiono. And nkalakatha (the song that united a nation).. And as so passionately written above, our flag.
