🌿Tofu Recipe | How to Make Gua Bao Taiwanese Hamburger vegan? [Light & Fluffy Chinese Bao Bun]
Ingredients:
(8 Gua Bao Hamburger)
for the buns:
250 g all purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
135 ml 35 c water
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp oil
for the filling and Toppings:
160 g bought fried firm tofu (or firm tofu, smoked tofu, tempeh)
pickled cucumbers
a few slices of lettuce
4 tbsp crushed peanuts
seasoning:
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
a pinch of five spices powder
60 ml water
starch water (1 tsp starch + 2 tbsp water)
