Coincidentally, I made something very similar for dinner, and my very picky child ate more than I allotted for an adult, same with my very elderly parent-in-law. This is a safe bet for definitely everyone!

For the vegan chicken, can I use the dry tofu sheets that require rehydrating? I notice that it is smoother on the surface, while the ones sold in the frozen section are nubby and have "beads" on the surface.

You can also use dried tofu sheets, but the texture isn't exactly the same. The tofu skin I use in the video has a grainy textured surface which has some thickness to it:-).

You can add some orange juice to the brazing liquid instead of of water. It would be very delicious.

Hallo, Ich habe zufällig Ihre video gesehen und ich finde Ihre Rezepten sehr Interessant. Ihre Soya Fish sieht sehr lecker aus. Glauben Sie, dass ich diese Rezepte in einem Air Fryer kochen könnte? Entschuldigung für mein Deutsch als ich sehr selten spreche.... Ich habe Ihre leiser Stimme sehr gerne. Ich kann auch mein Deutsch verbessern! 🥰

Vielen Dank für dein Feedback, und es freut mich, dass dir mein Deutsch gefällt! 😊Ja, du kannst den Sojafisch auch in der Heißluftfritteuse zubereiten. Ich würde empfehlen, es bei 180 Grad für etwa 5 Minuten zu probieren und dann nachzusehen, ob er fertig ist. Anpassen kannst du die Zeit nach Bedarf. Viel Spaß beim Kochen und guten Appetit!

Thank you. All are very tasty and doable. Is spicy beef an actual Chinese dish? Looking it up returns many results, but none of them come from websites with a focus on Chinese cooking. Is it more like a Western invention, like Hunan chicken?

Thank you for your feedback😀! Five-spice beef (braised) is a traditional Chinese dish. In fact, any dish that uses five-spice powder (a special seasoning in Chinese cuisine) can be classified as part of the "five-spice" series. It can be used in both meat and vegetarian dishes, such as five-spice peanuts or five-spice edamame, which are also well-known in China. My creation of five-spice flavored plant-based beef is inspired by this tradition.

Ciao und vielen Dank für die schönen Videos.. ich selbst hatte knapp ein Jahr vegetarisch gelebt und letztens eine Pause gemacht, also knapp 1 Monat etwas Fisch und Wurst gegessen, allerdings bekam mir das gar nicht, so daß ich mich inzwischen wieder rein vegetarisch ernähre.. liebe Grüße aus Braunschweig und bleibt gesund 🙃

Danke, dass du deine Erfahrungen mit der vegetarischen Ernährung teilst! Ich finde es großartig, wie du auf deinen Körper hörst, herausfindest, was dir guttut, und dann Schritt für Schritt anpasst. Eine vegetarische oder vegane Ernährung passt vielleicht nicht zu jedem, aber mehr pflanzliche Lebensmittel in den Speiseplan einzubauen, kann für die meisten nur von Vorteil sein! There are so many items like soya products which arenot available out here in India. I don't think it's available online too.

It is possible that tofu skins are not currently readily available in India. But tofu and Soyabean Chunks (Badi), should be available? Is there at least two dishes to try with this recipe?

Hello, Yaxin! Until I saw this video, I was not aware that the dark green part of a leek is edible, as I have never experienced a recipe that uses it; the recipes always call for the white and light green parts only. This recipe looks delicious! Thank you!

Hello! Yes, the green part of the leek is edible and full of nutrients. It has a stronger taste and is tougher than the white part, so it’s great for soups, stews, or broths where it can cook longer. When sliced finely, it can also be used in stir-fries or as a seasoning:-)!
