criminally underrated artist. her work is well composed, layered and executed with precision, they never disappoint in any live setup. the curse from the berlin live sessions has 52 million views and yet she is an underdog. unbelievable. another phenomenal artist, unrivaled, is eivor. falling free live at the old theater in tórshavn is absolut top. she is a classically trained sopran and owns a masters degree in traditional nordic vocal techniques and her vocals are unbelievable!

As we've seen in previous reactions, classical strings are particularly effective in creating a charged atmosphere and stirring the emotions. Plucking the cello string is a technique called "cello pizzicato". Obel cites Erik Satie as one of her claasical influences, a late 19th/early 20th century French composer who wrote some weird and wonderful piano pieces. She also listens to The Smiths being especially fond of "How Soon Is Now?". 😁

Yes, in the studio version she distorts her voice to a deep throaty voice with the second microphone. This song is featured on a German TV show the "Dark" series and the theme song to a Canadian TV series "Cardinal".
